WARNING for cocaine users: a-PVP

Ok, last night I did a stupid thing.

In hindsight it was a hell of a wake up call to smarten the fuck up and leave RCs where they belong, in the bin! So I bough a bag to what I believed was good coke. Scott tested it - Blue. Cool. Coke purity test kit tested it, half decent quality a fairly deep brown color. Tested as coke, must be coke.

Racked a line. Didn't weight but assume it was 80ish mg. standard dose of coke for me. Up she went and that was that.

Put on some tunes had a drink called a few girls I know then sat down. Heart racing like a old school techno beat, sweating like I've just smoked a decent amount of ice... Weird!

Get up n have another drink n ciggie. Whatttt my heart is getting faster. Ok anxiety is kicking in...... Badly. Cannot relax all I can think is what the fuck did I just snort!

Walk around back yard breathing slowly. Nup not working. Freaking the fuck out! Argggggggh

Heart isn't slowing down actually was faster 210BPM... Heart Attack? Fucking hell!

Decided I needed to go in and find something to knock this shit off. Valium x 2 10mg... Half hour no change 1 hour still no fucking change. Heart is still beating like a monkey playing bongos.

Atenolol 50mg don't know why I had those around sublingually dissolved one and yes, after 3 hours my heart started slowing down. Not to normal but better.

The rest of the night lasted till 5am feeling crap, scattered n clenching like a maniac!

Just woke up after a couple hours sleep and apart from a swollen tongue I feel ok

I have no doubt this was majority aPVP, I thought I was finished to be honest...

Times are changing... Be careful friends it's not like the 90s anymore. Too many analogues are available to easily and I can see people are going to start dropping like flies if they are not careful.

Take care this weekend... I'm done. Cannabis n booze for me, that experience was one I never want to risk or feel again!

With friends like that... well, i've never found coke dealers to be high on the scruples tbh. Glad you pulled through.

Yeah it seems (although it always has been) the coke trade is more about money now than it ever has been! I went to see my do called mate to have a go in person at him, but guess what no where to be found. I'm actually hoping he fucked with the wrong guy.

I'm still clenching today so I know it's APVP. I must have had more in that line than what I first thought... Anyone know if Kratom will put me in a better chilled frame of mind for this evening... Back to ethos for me I think. No one can fuck with plants grown yourself!
 
the black market drug trade has never been more dangerous than it is at the moment. so many random chems floating around the place, and a lot of them (ie a-PVP) are really cheap. the mark-up to cocaine prices are...well, criminal.

i think this thread is a timely warning - especially to those that feel they can trust their dealer 'friends' - that you really should trust nobody.
AS13, it sounds like you did the right things except for taking an 'allergy test' dose.
having had really small doses of a-PVP, i shudder to think what a big fat line must be like. horrible, i bet.
 
I honestly can't believe I'm still feeling not 100%

Everyone needs to be so careful now... You could be buying something you think will have you partying like an animal when it more than likely will land you in your local critical care unit.

Like I said... Stims (as much as I love em) and all these new RCs will be no where near me for a very very long time. Back to the good ol Jack Daniels, pot n oxies. Considering my whole family has heart issues I think it's best for my lil boy if I stop acting like a teenager and more like the 35 year old dad I should be.

Guess it woke me the fuck up if nothing else.
 
Definately shows that one should be very careful when testing out a new batch of black market drugs, it can be all too tempting to dive right in but incidents like this highlight the potential consequences.

Thanks mate... yeah, especially the younger generation who think they can handle anything. I know of people who have just dropped from a small line of so called "whatever it is", and ended up in a psych ward. Fucking drug dealers doing shit like that. Shit's me to think about it, but live and learn. At the end of the day, I'm OK, and I hope others take this thread seriously and exercise caution before insufflating or bombing anything gotten off the street OR on-line. Regardless how well you may know them (I have known this bloke for about 8 years), so just BE CAREFUL, I can't preach it enough.

I was telling the wife if it had been an 18 year old at a club, with no idea of the functioning of the cardiac system, I can pretty much say WITHOUT A DOUBT they would have been in casualty. Just lucky I like to have a range of different pharms in the med cabinet cause you never know what the fuck could happen when playing around.

yeah, it can be a pain in the ass when you want to hurry up and use something, but doing allergy tests or just taking a tiny dose to start and then waiting a while is more important than ever these days.

a-PVP can sure get the heart pumping.

Jesus. I was in Colombia fairly recently and used coke on several different occasions in one coastal city, every single time I had effects just like what as13 described, even with really small bumps. I've had good coke before in the other parts of colombia and south american countries and this had all the makings of good coke, taste, smell, look however the effects were the polar opposite, racing heart, massive hypertension and overwhemling anxiety. I couldn't tell if it was me or if the coke was cut or god knows what, both my girlfriend and I had the same problems with it and neither of us could put our finger on it. The problem i cant get around is why potentially cut cocaine with something dodgy in the most cocaine rich country on earth? I still don't know, I'm not that experienced with coke but I've had enough to be suspicious, something wasn't right with it.

If you're in Colombia and are buying coke from dealers in well known backpacker areas be cautious, I was lucky and didn't go overboard without testing it out first but I saw a few cases of people racking up stupid lines at bars and parties, if it had gone wrong it would have gone very wrong.

haven't they been cutting it at the source for years? i suppose cutting it with cheap, potent RC actives may be fairly new (or not?) but...shit, no matter how good your source apparently is, it's a timely reminder to be careful with powders.
small test doses really are advisable to anybody buying "cocaine" or other illicit powders.

Apart from the horrible effects you suffered AS13, its quite shocking that A-PVP tested up as cocaine. I hope this is an isolated incident and not becoming the norm.

Sadly the governments obsession with banning substances one after the other leads to manufacturers making increasingly obscure substances we know little about in terms of effects, these substances showing up mixed in with known chemicals is increasingly common.

Prohibition at its best.
 
I know of someone selling mephedrone as coke but theres nothing I can do as they are a hard bunch, not sure what I should do. They will surely kill someone, luckily most of my friends know about it but im hoping some poor soul doesnt buy some and have the kind of low-grade coke lines(20cm long 8( ) that you see the try-hard, steroid filled wankers doing to impress the girls or their mates. It would surely end them in hospital, ive seen people do some ridiculously huge lines of shit coke, they dont realise that if it was good coke that amount would be 4-5 lines and half of it gets wasted and goes down their throat anyway, not to mention they'd probably come close to OD'ing.

Im becoming so disgusted with the way people treat drugs these days, adulteration definitely happened years ago but drug dealers are becoming selfish, wreckless and extremely greedy these days. Im really becoming jaded, its sad, for me at least. Knowing how these amazing psychonauts and club kids, ravers, doofers and general experimentalist are around in good numbers but the scumbags seem to outnumber them in some places

Karma will get these fuckers though.
