want to extract DMT, best plant to use???

as above really... fancy extracting DMT whats the best plant for starting with? the best thing would be one i can buy dry online thats not too expensive...

DMT is DMT, it's the same whether it comes from plant A or plant B or a laboratory. However, when you do an extraction, you're pulling all the alkaloids, and some plants contain things like bufotenine or 5-MeO-DMT, so the extracted product can vary in effect. MHRB will give pretty pure DMT afaik.
 
If at all possible get the powdered bark.......eliminates the coffee grinder steps.
 
Where does one order/scavenge for this type of bark?
Or do I have to raid the botanical gardens in the city like a ninja? :)

afaik mhrb legality in australia is a grey area i think since it contains a banned substance.
 
I believe it would be against the rules to source a bark vendor, but they aren't hard to find. Google it and you shouldn't have any trouble finding one.
 
Here is the guide I use: http://wiki.dmt-nexus.com/Noman's_tek Noman's tek is really good and easy. I get between 1.5-2% dmt from bark.

Be sure to keep the jars of sludge heated so the naphtha can suck up more DMT. I use a large pot of water and heat it up on stove, then put the jars of sludge into the pot. Wait 30 minutes and then take out jars and gently roll them in my hands, meanwhile reheating the pot of water, then jars back in pot of water, wait 30 minutes and gently roll the jar, rinse repeat.

Freeze precipitation is by far the best way to get the DMT out of the naphtha, but you need a good freezer. Once DMT has crystalized I scrape the jar with knife to free the DMT from the jar, then pour solution through coffee filter. First pull using always yields a beautiful white and faintly yellow powder.

yeah i dunno about that.
some "dmt" containing plants have other tryptamine alkaloids that vary slightly in the experience.

like the experience from yopo seeds is really shitty and different than that of mimosa hostilis root bark.
 
There was only a thread like this the other day, and the question has been answered. The majority of people who extract will tell you to go with the MHRB.

Perhaps this should be closed now?

I use the "marsofold" tek. It's no 3-4 hour tek but the yields are always tight and its fairly easy.

that's like saying all alcohol is the same no matter what it's processed from - potatoes, fruit, barley, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it all just ethanol?

Extracted DMT is not all pure N,N-DMT, there are other similar compounds typically included in an extraction as was previously mentioned (5-MEO-DMT, 4-HO-DMT, etc..) depending on a number of factors.

Me and my girlfriend have this argument all the time.
Psilocin made in a lab isn't the same as Psilocin contained in mushrooms.
I disagree, to me Psilocin is Psilocin and I cant get my head around how different mushrooms can have different effects unless there are other active ingredients contained within the fruit.

Although admmitedly trips do seem to vary from strain to strain. :\
 
That's because mushrooms contain drugs other that psilocin. The different strains contain different ratios of different chemicals.

If you just get synthetic 4-ho-dmt you're missing quite a few other chems which affect the trip.
