Bupe want to do oxy for the first time in about 4-5 months, have been on suboxone

Alright ive been on suboxone for about 4-5 months; i started off on 16mg and i am now down too 4 mg but i dont take it all at once i usually cut it in peices and have some left over to sell give away, so i can say my regular dose for the day is somewhere around 2.5-3mg a day. and i really want to do some oxycodone tomorrow.

i calculated how long it would be since my last time i took my sub to the point im bout to do the roxi 30 and it would be 21 hours.
now i have been on sub for awhile and i know all the blocking effects wont be away by 21 hrs, but will i atleast feel a nice opiate buzz by then? and im pretty sure my opiate tolerance is probably very low then what it was.
i used to take 60-70-90 mg max to get a nice high going, but now i have no clue where it is.

does suboxone lower your opiate tolerance after being on it for awhile? if so what do you think a good dose would be since the blocking effects are still there but tolerance has dropped significantly? 10-15mg?

i will probably be snorting some and popping the rest or would it be safer to snort it all? i know popping it has a higher ba and id like to get the most out of this, do you think i should buy one or two? money isnt a problem i just want to feel that nice opiate feeling as i go out with my girlfriend all night long.

also after all said and done and im out of oxy since i have been on sub for so long would it be safe for me to take my regular dose of sub the next day withut going into PW?

What you're trying to do is a waste of time and money in my oppinion. You will not feel the oxy after only 21 hours of being of the subs, not at a daily dose of ~3mg, especially not since you have been taking them for a long time so there is alot more in your system.

You can expect to have to take more than you used to before maintenance therapy. Still start slow, harm reduction and all.

Also, getting started on 16mg subutex when you could get high from 60-90mg oxy? What the hell, you absolutely didn't need such a huge dose, sadly many doctors seem misinformed when it comes to buprenorphine dosage.

I wait 76 hours after doing suboxone to do opiates, I want to feel the full effects. waiting 48 hours is pushing it but youll feel the high then, not all of it though. It'll be like you have a high tolerance to opiates still (which you are because you're stabilized on subs)

You're about to waste your time and money. You wont feel ANYTHING until 48 hours AT LEAST, and it will be MINIMAL at that.
72 hours is safe, but no guarantee. Just as you do with sub, you need to wait until you're in near full blown withdrawal.
THe ONLY way 24-36 hours would work is if you were on a <2mg dose daily and abused FENTANYL.

Really think about this before you proceed. You've been stable for this long. You really want to go thru two rounds of withdrawal for a few hours of mediocre opiate euphoria?

And to answer your other question, after about a week - yes your opiate tolerance would most definitely be down, as the ceiling dose of subs is only about equivalent to ~30mg morphine (everyone has a different opinion, but Im speaking from experience, after about a week of a PRESCRIBED change to full agonists from suboxone, my tolerance was significant lower)

No way, i'm on 4mg of sub a day (one time when i wake up) and taking 90mg of oxy is what i used to do all at once. Pop some/snort some. You would be wasting that oxycodone. Trust me, i read up on peoples replies and i thought it would be different for me. WRONG. it's a great waste of money seeing as down here in florida they are expensive to my ir 30mg oxy. So don't do it. It takes me about 3 days before i will even try oxy. Even though. It took me double my dose to even get a good nod. It is a waste!

Absolutely NOTHING.

Seriously dude, if you're DEAD set on this, and want to reap some reward for the addict within, wait 48 hours. At that time, use the COWs scale to determine what level of withdrawal you're in. At your past does of sub, even 48 hours probably won't ne enough.

PLease, our generation is plagued by instant gratification, particularly males. Wait it out. If it means that much to you, then do it right.

You can't attempt this expecting to feel fine from the subs and then get high. You're going to have to hit the lows of withdrawal to get what you desire out of it. You're just now hitting bupe's half-life man, and conidering it's unbreakable strong affinity towards the opiate receptor, being above the ceiling dose, there are bupe molecules circulating waiting to attach as bupe is beginning to dissociate.

I've had kidney stone lithotripsy on two occasions with only 24 hours vacation from suboxone at a dose of 2mg per day. Consecutive IV push (bolus) doses of 50-100mcg Fentanyl didn't make a DENT. They were not able to turn the power up all the way because of my level of consciousness and zero analgesia. The only thing that kept me from bearing through the procedures was the Versed. However no amount of that kept me from screaming for more pain med.

On a different occasion, after 48 hours I was able to feel approx 60mg of oral Percocet and by feel and I mean ONLY pain relief. I remained on the Percs until my Rx ran out, and I'd say by day 4-5 I was able to get relief with slight euphoria at 30-40mg.

The one and ONLY time I "broke thru" was at 36 hours post 1mg sub, when I retardedly vaporized a glob of fent gel.

If you must man, and are willing to go thru w/d all over again to get back on the subs after your few hours of fun are over with, then you need to wait.
