Want to be an EADD moderator? Good - we're looking for a new one %)​



It's time I moved on and let one of you young / not so young pups get your ugly paws on an EADD modstick.

We're looking for someone who is harm-reduction focussed and has a reasonable degree of drugs-knowledge and experience who practises and will promote harm reduction. If you think you can commit to putting time into modding EADD by checking in most days, keeping up with all the posts, actively modding, enforcing the BLUA aka rules, be part of the mod team and still post regularly yourself - then we'd like you to apply!

Send a PM to myself, effie, SamhainGrim, atm23 and Albion telling us:-

  • Why you want to moderate EADD?
  • What relevant knowledge / experience you have of modding, drugs and harm-reduction?
  • How much time could you dedicate to modding?
  • How you would improve EADD?

Post count / join date are less important than enthusiasm and dedication.

Don't make your application here - PM it plus any other information you wish to include to myself, effie, SamhainGrim and Albion.

Surely it should go on who has taken the most drugs and lived - they must know the most about harm reduction?

Kate <3 thank you for everything you have done here! Modding's not going to be the same without your wise and kind words.. EADD's loss :( Hope you stick around as crew <3

Get your apps in people! Any questions feel free to ask. Moderating here is ace, it really is. Otherwise why would we keep coming back? ;) (great to be back btw). The chance to help out in the best forum on the interwebz is pretty awesome, and I know a lot of you are bursting with ideas :D

I remember once upon a time atm and knock were both vying for the next mod spot. every post either of them made was dripping with helpful advice, and this went on for weeks. Then atm got appointed mod, knock started posting pictures of his penis and atm got knocked off his moped.

I think there are many lessons we can learn from this little tale.

Thanks for everything Kate, you've more than done your bit, good decision imo. See you in the gardening thread in the spring if not before :)
 
That is a total fabrication B&W, which in itself is encouraging:D

I have never owned a fuking moped for a start and my mod app was made whilst I was in a wheelchair....by why let real life facts stand in the way of a good post.....the job could well be yours;)
 
haha sorry I was hazy on the details, the only bit i remember clearly was the penis <3 :D

I havent been on for ages but I cant think of an obvious contender. I'll be interested to see who gets it, a brave soul given the behaviour of late :D

He has it laminated for special occasions ....and the Puch 50 is a fine machine.

I still have a copy of the plugging vid...for HR
 
I can't, i do remember a big 'fro of pubes though.

But i def remember knock and atm vying to be the sensible voices of harm reduction and trying to calm moments of friction.
 
I think it should go on expierence.

I nominate ISMENE or STONEHAPPYMONDAY.

they are both very informed responsible and level headed.

Whether they want the job is different.
I have been a bl'er since may 2001 and being expierenced then applied for mod ship back then.think its a bit of a poison chalice atm lol.
But i think its important that the person appointed mod is not just on an ego trip. That they are sincere.
No offence to martin but if he got the job after the recent business then this place would turn into a sham
