walking down the memory lane...

When someone mentions Bluelight in a few years, I'm going to reflect on the "FUCK" and see how much I achieved ;)
 
1. everything Bluelight stands for
2. some things it doesn't stand for;)
3. the friends ive met.
4. the memories and photos i have and keep collecting
5. in general the intelligent, witty, and open minded nature of those who frequent this board.

Bluelight has defined a period in my life. i will always remember it for that. very fondly too. as cynical as i can be, i fucking love it!:)
 
Two words.

Camp Bluelight.

The first ever official Bluelight Trashweekend away with d' Original Aussie Bluelight Crew. Pillcat, Apples, Pinger, Ben and me. Before the Smelbournites invaded. 'hey Laadies!' (think, Beastie Boys, that's what the Kookaburra said to us when we read his mind) and having a minute silence for all the astronauts who've been lost in space.

Oh and my first ever outdoor rave, it was at Kryal Castle. My first experience with Wonky Wear, the night I 'got' acid, the night I first met Tarsy (and many others), and then crazy chicken moments in the spa with Cowboymac, Nikstar, Horsey, Piggy and GHB. Bwok Bwok!

i guess i have bluelight to thank for two of the most wonderful people in my life - my boyfriend maxi and bestfriend tarsy.... as well as lots of other fantastic bluelighters bluelight has brought me in contact with or provided the link to lots of other great people **hugs dfc beads**

some of the great moments include:
- earthcore nye 00/01.... ROADTRIP!
- creation '00
- THAT weekend down the coast
- sunny pj stylin'!!! (now who didn't i hug and kiss ;))
- yaki shenanigans
- the 4 corners doco

i'm sure there's other things - these are just the few that immediately spring to mind....

aww how lovely this all is.. remeniscing is nice :) though i tend to forget details sometimes.

its been a long time but mona on behalf of melbourne apologies for taking over the board!

candyflip- caramel and spanishfly didnt go off and get married though thats another story. i still speak to her all the time. she still plans on coming back again some time. but we shouldnt wait for her before we sort out a reunion of some sort. the spleen bar would be nicely appropriate %)

this board holds a lot of memory for so many people, its been the precursor to many lives being changed. and thats special not cause of the board but as candyflip said, cause of the people. i had no idea what i was getting myself into. lucky i did.
 
Bluelight means sooo much to me. From my first BL meetup in CBR to our road trip to Kryal for WT2 to my Mod spot in Events and indirectly meeting the girl of my dreams, BL has shaped my life in soo many ways.

Its Peaking Ducks humour that first made me feel relaxed enough to first post on this board nearly 3 years ago.

Its the friends i made in CBR from my first ever meetup that i still have today.

Its the WT2 party that was just.....HUGE!!!

Its the "welcome" feeling that BL had.

Its the MANY friends and acquaintances(sp?) i have made over the years.

- Meeting my first bluelighters - Anjele and Plastikman (aka Psyentist before he sold out to commercialism ;) ) outside Seven
- My first Bluelight meetup at the Spleen Bar followed by Pleazure
- Jungle Bizness
- Ganesha
- The first Wild Things party
- The Bluelight Bush Doof - damn good venue =D
- Bourbon Adventures with mikeysammy and Munke :)
- Drinks at JB's bar

oh, almost forgot - the first Bluelight BBQ - sitting there with ferris and being the only ones early and wondering if we got the right place? So we just set up his gear and went ahead regardless - before you knew it the place was swarming with bluelighters :)
