Would you believe me,
if I told you that,
I sleep with the bitter,
cold at night.

Sixteen sleeping pills,
Sixteen hellbound wheels,
corridors to insanity,
an escape from your vanity.

Would you comfort me,
if you knew that,
cold is this winter,
my disheveled life.

refrain

This is the coldest winter,
I have ever known.
A dark abyss looms menacingly,
where the sun once shown.

refrain

Can't stave off,
the wolves any longer.
These haunting delusions,
better than your illusions.

refrain

Are these voices real?
They tell me how to feel.
Specters haunt my reality.
I must take my waking pills.

Voices in the head, don't always tell the truth,,, but sometimes they know better then we know.

This is a bit of saddness and maddness all at one
kept me wondering how it would end.

good work!
