Bupe waited 24hrs, suboxone not working??

Lastly, the naloxne in sub's is not absorbed when taken sublingualy. Its only purpose is to scare you out of shooting sub's, but again it actually serves no purpose.
This is true. Also, the naloxone is there to make Drs feel better about prescribing subs. So its not like they're just giving someone an opiate... which they are.

And btw saramajara, goodluck with that methadone kick, lol. jk man that part of my life was hell, I cant even talk about it... IN THE LAND OF METHADONIA

I used to switch daily for a while, I'd use H all day then the next morning decide to take my sub and stay on them but I would get precipitated withdrawals so I'd use H on top to feel normal. I did this many times. Now I know I was taking to much sub to early. I got clean cold turkey in jail. While in there mates would give me 1-2mg of sub once or twice a week and I would get so stoned, nodding and everything. Now I've been using opiates for 20 years now. I don't think receptors get completely ruined like people are saying. It's just people aren't waiting long enough or are taking to much.

Not only does naloxone have low bioavailability when taken any route except I.V./I.M., the buprenorphine totally overpowers it. Naloxone would NOT work as an antidote for a buprenorphine overdose like it used for heroin, oxy, & most other opioids. You'd need diprenorphine. In fact, suboxone & subutex (only buprenorphine) feel IDENTICAL even when I.V.'d.

OP I still feel withdrawal after a heavy binge no matter what dose of suboxone or subutex I take. It's only a partial agonist. Buprenorphine only stimulates the mu-opioid receptor to 30% of its efficiency; heroin, morphine, oxy, & other full agonists stimulate it to 100% of its efficiency. This is why we still feel sick.

This is interesting. I guess if you look at it that way, and u read my original post this would make 100% sense as the reason why. Although I do think if u wait the proper amount of time you'd be fine either way.
