Hi, I'm new here :)
So, I bought this Wachuma cactus, and looked for methods of use. The one that seemed best for me was blending it with water and then cooking it. Right, so I started cooking it some hours ago..the problem is that after 1 hour or so, it evapored like half of the mixture, and I didn't have too much of it to begin with. Then, I started thinking "kay, so what if I lose all my cactus and can't get nothing out of it", so I stopped boiling and just drank whatever I had. It was something around 200ml. Mixed it with honey, ginger and lemon. Tasted good, actually! Problem is that I drank it more than an hour and a half ago and have NO effect whatsoever. I'm kind of an alcoholic, so I drank a couple of beers, a bottle of wine and two shots of vodka before. Does that have anything to do with the lack of effect? Did I mess up in the preparation? Did I ruin my Wachuma? The dose I took was supposedly to be for two people to get high. What did I do wrong?

I can't say much for your boiling technique. You might get a quicker/better answer by mentioning that it's Peruvian Torch in the title rather than Wachuma Cactus.

As for the alcohol, yes alcohol can lessen the effects of a trip, especially if you drank that much, however it's hard to say if that was the issue, particularly when you already have a high tolerance to alcohol.

If it tasted good, you definitely didn't do it right. Try a different method. Also, do not mix any other substance with it just to be safe.
