I am 19 years old, and a freshman in college. Last night I had a huge English paper to write and I spent all the way till 2:30 am procrastinating. Finally I noticed that my friend had given me 2 40mg tabs of vyvanse. He told me that I could help me study and that I should try it. So I took them. It felt amazing being able to type up my English paper so fluently. I felt a focus that I have never felt before. I felt like I could do anything, study for anything, or get anything done (academically speaking). After all was said and done I got my entire research paper done in 2 hours flat and have never felt better about it in my life! We are talking a 2000 word cited research paper!!!!

This vyvanse really has helped me but what I would like to know is-

A.-Should I continue just through college for my major assignments.

Or

B. Should I try to get a prescription for it and take it daily.

Thanks!!!!

I understand I was asking if I should see a doctor. Just wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience.
Much Thanks

Do not go with the latter.

It is not wise to use drugs just to get through activities. Be it sleep, speeches, etc. It will cause a dependence at some point.

Personally I'd only use it for major things. I don't like uppers

I can pretty much tell just by the tone of your post that any sort of consistent use of this drug (or, probably any stimulant) would result in a dependency. Besides, it would probably stop working for you eventually. Btw, this isn't an MDMA related question, you posted in the wrong sub forum. I'm not sure if OPs are able to move threads after posting -- if not, a mod will do so.

don't take it every day. with stimulant you'll quickly get into the territory of diminishing returns. even with weekly use you'd see that you'll need more for not even same effect after some time. if you don't need it to get anything done at all (in which case your use should definitely be monitored by a doctor), you should use very sparingly.
