Stimulants Vyvanse?

I took 90mg Adderall XR last night around 8 for work. This morning I plan on taking some Vyvanse to keep me going, probably 140mg or so. Considering that I take 30mg Adderall XR/day and have a huge tolerance, is this safe?

And the powder in Vyvanse capsules can be insufflated, correct?

Vyvanase must be taken orally to achieve good effects.

If memory serves something like 50% of a Vyvanase dose is converted to amphetamine, so 140mg may be too much.

Snorting it will produce no effect, you have to take it orally, as Vyvanse is a pro-drug.

You're technically incorrect about why Vyvanse cannot be snorted; being a pro-drug alone doesn't make a drug not nasally active; i.e. heroin.

Vyavnse needs to have the L-lysine group cleaved - primarily within the bloodstream, due to the hydrolytic activity of red blood cells.

In vitro data demonstrated that red blood cells have a high capacity for metabolism of lisdexamfetamine; substantial hydrolysis occurred even at low hematocrit levels (33% of normal). Lisdexamfetamine is not metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes.

According to the conversion found on Wikipedia, 140mg of lisdexamfetamine should theoretically produce the equivalent 56mg of dextroamphetamine sulfate.

Snorting would be pointless IMO.

If you take 140mg of vyvanse you probably aren't going to sleep for at least 36 hours.

That really depends on how tolerant you are to amphetamines.
