I've never gotten a headache from adderall but I have one right now. I was wondering a) if this was a common side effect of amphetamines in general or vyvanse in particular and b) what you would recommend in terms of OTC pain relief.
Water. Probably not what anyone wants to hear, but in the end, short of narcotics, it's the only thing that works, especially with those speed induced headaches. You can take an Advil if you want too, but 16oz of water usually helps a lot.
More than likely you are experiencing a dehydration headache. Make sure your fluid levels are where they need to be - amphetamines cause dehydration pretty fast.
I have start vyvanse 4week ago and the first week an half i had headache also, either i started to drink more water or my body just got use to it.Anyway no more headache for me , so i would say to not inscrease your dose to fast and obv drink considerable amount of water because stimulant dehydrate our superusefull brain.
I thought I was drinking a shitload of water all night but maybe I underestimated the dehydrating ability of amps. However, after a 3 hour nap I woke up and the headache was completely gone.

QFT. I took some Vyvanse this morning and I had a headache an hour ago. It finally went away after I drank a lot of water, took Aleve, and ate some healthy food. I read for hours but NT pretty much is spot on.
