Stimulants Vyvanse recommended recreational dose?

I haven't taken any amphetamines since July. That's almost 4 and a half months so has my tolerance gone down any? I only have two 30mg vyvanse and I don't want to use both if I don't have to but I have insomnia and I'm out of ambien and I want to be productive all night so I'm not bored. What do you guys think? If it means anything I have a high metabolism and weigh 185.

I have a pretty high tolerance to stims so I would eat both and prolly be upset that I'm not high enough! lol. But maybe in your case, try one whole and see where that gets you. if your not at your preffered point then eat the other...
 
No one can tell for sure. Yes, 4.5 months of abstinence will lead to a reduction in tolerance. And taking 2 30mg caps will do more than 1. Other than that, there's no way to tell you anything meaningful.
 
It seems very reasonable to assume that your tolerance will have decreased a fairly decent amount(though this depends on what your dosage was like before and a number of other factors.)

Id recommend trying 1, waiting 30 mins- an hour and then if you're not pleased with the results, take the other.

During the prescription of ADHD medications like vyvanse there isn't any drug titration that happens. In other words when the doctor prescribes this specific medication you just take it the next day regardless of the dose. I only suggest this kind of first time use with drugs that don't require titration. You will be fine if you take all 60mg of the Vyvanse. The maximum dosage for Vyvanse is 70mg a day taken orally, normally in the morning as for taking a high dose on top of first time use, you're going to be awake for a bit. When it comes to your dilemma you will more than likely end up taking all of the Vyvanse, whether you choose to re-dose halfway through the night or take it all at once both will make you alert, focused, and productive hopefully for the whole night. Lastly a harm reduction recommendation to finish things off, please do not think this information applies to all prescription drugs. The information i am giving is strictly for this specific inquiry. 70mg a day might be the highest scripted dose but I'm on 100mg w.o tolerance and feel great, of course I'm taking it recreational/motivate me through paws
 
You now need to STOP and THINK!

If you continue to take Vyvanse for recreational dosage it will only lead to rebound effects. You will soon then no longer be able to feel any benefit from it, start feeling like crap , etc , etc...

Stop abusing the medication. Switch around NOW.
 
It's a weird drug, sometimes 20mgs has me buzzing with some beers. Other times I can take a 70mg and be like meh.

Good god today 70mg had me feeling like I was on meth. Last night 70mg was a baseline dose.

Best bet is to find a subtle dose and throw in some adderall IR just to hit the sweet spot.
 
Given that L-amphetamine's affinity for monoamine transporters is something like 1/5 to 1/10 that of D-amphetamine and there's very little of it in Adderall anyway, it's questionable just how much real difference there is between adde4rall and dexedrine.
 
I've only taken it twice. First time 120 mg. Second time 160 mg. It was about a month apart and it got me very high both times I took it. I have a high tolerance so that's why I took so much, but the feeling was great :)
