Stimulants Vyvanse - Lisdexamfetamine, How Does It Measure On Your Scale??

Hi, guys I'm new to BL, so i'm not sure if anyone has asked this before, but i've tried searching and no result.

First off, I'm not prescribed Vyvanse (but I do have ADD, but I don't take any meds except occasional mph-sr)
I am currently taking Vyvanse 40mg's and 60mg's that I got from a friend. I've noticed that the 40's don't last me as long as people state it would be, it would take 1.5 hrs for onset,
reach peak around 2.5 hrs, and then i would crash/comedown by 4hr mark.

For the 60's, its much better, around 8 hrs of stimulation (excluding 2 hr onset, and 2 hr comedown).

Some say its because everyone reacts differently, and some people might have a condition that interferes with the small intestine from breaking down the l-lysine properly. But today, I got a
hold of a 0.01 measurement scale, and measured the 40's and 60's pill by pill. I noticed that my 40's actually measure up to 200mg (and it varies from 190-210mg). On the other hand my 60's measure up to an average of 210 mg (variation from 20o-22omg) and I've even found one that only measure up to 140mg...

SO my question is,how does the vyvanse capsules supposed to measure up to? I want to know the possibilities that my 'friend' split the caps to make more profit...

no? if it says that its 40mg, then its 40mg plus filler... your friend is probably jacking half the powder from your capsules, my friend used to do that and shoot me the extra 20mg that he jacked form someone, so i guess you just go the raw end of the deal
 
Are you serious? Who the fuck rips off people taking simple ass amphetamines? Hard drugs, I can understand the cutting, but the whole point of pharmaceutical drugs is that you know exactly what you're getting. I suppose if you're not the one with the script this isn't the case if you have capsules, or commonly faked pills like roxi.

Are you sure your scale is good though?

Yeah my scale is good, but sometimes its off by like 0.01g (10mg), maybe needs calibration. I re-measure the capsules separately later tonight (weigh the empty cap, and then weigh the powder), but the fact that they are inconsistent and some of the 60's weigh the same as 40's and one that is half less than the others (110mg) leads to me great suspicion. I guess people will just do about anything to make a quick buck...sigh

oh sick, ir oxy's eh, i hear the prices for oxys are off the charts cus they stopped making them? Only extended release now?

And back to the topic, I measured it again, for some reason, the 60mg cap that measured 110mg turned out to have the state amount of lisdexafetamine powder - 60mg. Weird....
Also, is it a good idea to bomb/parachute this thing? I hate the prolonged onset and during the comeup I always get the runs and I realize it lasts longer if I try to refrain from any bowel movement as long as I can. But if I give in and run to the toilet during comeup, the peak is short-lived and quickly become hungry and the whole experience is shortened by at least 2-3 hrs worth.

I am on 60mg vyvanse and when you start taking this drug after a few days, you don't even notice you're on it anymore and you just feel like a normal person with a drive to do stuff and live your life...

Vyvanse is also designed to teach your brain to do what the drug is doing naturally on it's own and is designed to not be abused and if you inject or snort vyvanse it doesn't have much of a different effect then when the pill is swallowed.

If you're taking vyvanse recreationally I would recommend picking a different ADD medicine to take recreationally as you're not going to find vyvanse very fun after a few days...
 
also I have 30mg, 40mg, 50mg and 60mg pills. I would measure them on a scale if I had one.

I'm not taking it recreationally, I hardly go over 60mg per day. And I've been only on the med for 3 consecutive days now, I've read tolerance only builds up after a month of a daily use. Personally though, I'd say vyvanse has a strong recreation potential than other ADD/ADHD meds i've tried (mph-ir, mph-sr, concerta, dexedrine). I have yet to try adderall or focalin (d-mph). I hate mph-ir (Ritalin), it gives me alot of anxiety and it feels much more speedy than dex or other forms of mph. And that crash, ugh! I have script of sandoz-mph (mph-sr) and its very good for me and relaxing. I would never try adderall though, sounds like a trainwreck to me, unless I wanna be tweaked
 
Yeah vyvanse definetely is not speedy and doesn't make you anxious when taking it like other ADD meds for sure.

I was actually a bit anxious when I started vyvanse but i got use to it quickly after a couple days.

I would never take any other ADD meds after I have been on vyvanse and how great it feels now to just feel normal on it, not tweaked but not fatigued and concentrated with a great drive to do stuff I didn't have a drive to do before.

Wat? So you're saying it trains the brain to increase natural dopamine levels in a non-medicated state? lol

Do you mean it teaches you how to manage your time properly and get it somewhat organized so you can later deal with it without medications? ADD meds don't cure ADD, they're a temporary bandaid...

that is quite weird, because I popped open a few of the capsules i've noticed that some of the powder are actually very compact, some even looked like powdery rocks. And that is why I noticed that some aren't even nearly half full and jumbles in the caps. BUt when I pour out the contents and set it on the scale, it reads the exact amount that it should be stated on the caps. So somehow it condense or smth due to humidity? I'm not sure, and still trying to find out.
This proves how silly all those conspiracy theories going on about on the web about doctors and pharmacists tampering with their meds. However the inconsistency of duration of a vyvanse pill remains a mystery to me, at times a 60mg would last me 12+ hrs (without the long onset) sometimes only 4-6hrs...so effin' wierd
