Stimulants Vyvanse Duration?

I took 90mg of Vyvanse last night at 7:30PM and it took about three hours for full effect since it needs to break down the lysine into dextroamph. Anyways, it is now 10AM and I am still high as fuck. How long is this supposed to last? I slept two hours but very badly, other than that I've been up all night chewing the fuck out of the inside of my mouth. I am not complaining, I'm still having fun but I'm wondering how long it should take for the effects to stop? Thank yew.

Hard to say. When the fun is over try to drink a lot of water and get a lot of Vitamin C. Also if you can stomach it, eat something. This will help bring you down and make sure you can sleep.

I never found Vyvanse to last incredibly long, six hours or so, but them again I seem to have a slightly different response to stimulants than others (like, I can virtually sleep on everything from Adderall to I.V cocaine-MDPV is the only deviant that's really been the exception). Force yourself to eat some food and keep yourself hydrated as well. I find that's the Best way to kill an unwanted amphetamine buzz without using benzodiazepines or opiates.

hmm, maybe it's because this is the first time ever i take any kind of amphetamine. full thing was 15-16 hours. kinda crazy.

This is not an uncommon response from somebody who took amphetamine (and more specifically, lisdexamphetamine) for their first time.

Some say Vyvanse lasts sixteen hours, others that it lasts five.

Vyvanse lasts a really long time, much longer than any other dextroamphetamine formulation I have tried. IME it can last over 16 hours. I have had trouble sleeping even 20-24 hours after, but eventually it goes away. all of this depends on your enzymes and such since this goes through the liver in a special way. I will say it may last 18 hours. 90 mg is too big of a dose imo. good luck

That's about a 12 hour awakeness. I've been taking it for almost a year now.

Pharmaceutics say that it lasts 12 hours......which is bullshit of course. I found that Vyvance tends to last 6 hours at the most and this is dose dependent. If you want something that lasts longer than Vyvance, try Adderall. Adderall XR 20mg's usually last around 8 hours for me. The peak lasts for 3 hours, the middle lasts for 4 hours and then it's mostly gone but you can feel a little something at the 7 hour mark that lasts for another hour.

For me when I was prescribed the 30mg it took bout hour an a half to feel effects an a lil longer for full tweakin if id take like 3 or 4 of em. Theylasted bout 13 hrs but I had no probs sleepin after 9 hrs.
