Stimulants Vyvanse Dosage

Im 150 lbs. I have a few 50 mg of vyvanse and im curious about what dosage I should take. Will I even notice 50 mgs? Im looking to be a little more than a study aid but not so much that im bouncing off the walls like traditional speed. Should I opt for 2 50s or 1 if its my first time in a while? I just dont want to waste one, especially considering im not planning to redose
 
I would say take two - one would probably be perfect for studying, but you're not really going to "feel" it.


Vyvanse(lisdexamphetamine) is more than half Lysine by weight, so 50mg of Vyvanse is roughly 20mg of Dexedrine ER.
 
I disagree. I think 50mg is definitely more than enough to 'feel' it. If you aren't used to taking amphetmines, youll definitely get high from 50mg. If you dont feel anything in 2 hours, take the other one.
 
It's not 50mg of amphetamine though, it's ~20mg...and it's time released...

So, that's like eating a 10mg Dexedrine, and then another 10mg Dexedrine 6 hours later (I understand Vyvanse is more linear than that but I'm using a simple example).

In addition, amphetamines have a pretty poor oral bioavailability, although there are a bunch of easy ways to fix that, which OP probably isn't using.

So, if you would feel 10mg of Dexedrine (orally, not sniffed) at a time, Crashing, then you gave good advice.

In my experience, 10mg of d-amp orally is pretty underwhelming. I used to take 2 or 3 of the 70mg Vyvanses (140mg and 210mg of lisdexamp, respectively[equivalent to ~56mg and ~84mg of actual d-amp, respectively]) to catch a nice little buzz, and that was with no tolerance.

Really? I took 150mg my 1st time. First stim ever... cept caffiene or something. It was a good high but I felt like I coulda taken 200mg, and I did try 200 about a month later. Was more 'there' for me... but I was looking to push the limit and get as high as possible and push 'my limit'. I did 150mg once then followed with 100mg an hour after the third time (at least 2-3 weeks between last dose). That was a bit much, but not too much. For me, that is. I was very high, it was enjoyable, but I could just feel how hard it was on my body. Was experiencing random light twinges of pain randomly in my body throughout the experience. Nothing alarming though... no signs of overstimulation or too much vasoconstriction.

But by all means, DO NOT take what I say and decide to dose as much yourself. I've seen people talk about taking a lot less than I did on BL. I don't even remember what info I based my initial trial dose of 150mg on. Start low, test the waters, work your way up. Be safe.

Edit: Also, Vyvanse makes my balls ache. It's a very dull twinge that occurs if I take more than one regular recreational dose in a day. I've searched the web for it. Nothing, except for something like less than ten account of people experiencing it with other pharm amps. Not officially listed as a rare side effect or anything. Bout half those people reported reporting the ball-pain to a doctor, and they thought they were crazy or something.
 
Hmm. Id definetly say that I tend to prefer the higher side as opposed to lower, so ill probably end up doing the 100. Im just worried how dilated my pupils will be. I read somewhere that it lasts 12 hours, so if my pupils usually remain fine until im coming down, then theoretically Iill be fine for 12 hours? And since its so precisely released, maybe my pupil dilation will be minimal because ill come down slowly?
 
If you've never really done a lot of amphetamine before, your pupils might be noticeably larger at the end of the day.

Mine get larger. I also get visuals similar to morphy/patterny psych visuals from amps/stims. Get's interesting when I dose real high.

I also had no amp experience until a few months ago. They're nice on occasion in my book given I have other drugs to mix with it.
