Hello all new to bluelight hoping to get some advice. Is anyone currently taking 60mg of vyvanse 1x a day along with 60mg of cymbalta once a day and .5 mg of klonopin 3x a day also im on roxicodone 15mg 1 every 4-6 hours max 5 per day for low back pain. Ive been on various adhd meds since a kid and i started my road with pain medication 8 years ago. Starting on ultram moving up to hydrocodone then Percocet now the roxicodone do to having stomach issues with all the apap from being on 8x 10-325 Percocet. My question is all of these meds safe my PM Dr knows what my psych dr perscribes me and vise versa. I wake up at 7am take a roxi then wait 3 hours and take my vyvanse. My klonopin is prn 3x a day but i really only take it when im leaving the house do to very bad social anxiety. Ive been surfing on bluelight for the last 5 years finding very helpful information im not looking to abuse my medication. Ive seen post where people talk about getting high off there meds thats NOT me im just trying to live a normal life. Is anyone taking these meds together or have they. Also my dr wants to up my cymbalta to 120mg one 60mg in the morning and one at night. Im a little nervous because when i looked up to see if there were any interactions with cymbalta and vyvanse drugs.com says theres a major one that could occur i just started cymbalta the last month on 20mg then 40 now im up to 60mg thanks. Sorry for the long message. Any help would be much appreciated. If i posted in the wrong place i sincerely apologize im still figuring out the website now that my accounts been unlocked and i have access to everything.

Hey there, welcome aboard the Bluelight ship and congrats on finally signing up :)

Don't worry we aren't here to judge whether you're abusing your meds or not - our concern is that however they're used it's done safely :)

Vyvanse and cymbalta can be problematic in excess due to something called serotonin syndrome, but aren't really likely to cause you any trouble at the therapeutic doses you're being given. However I would certainly discuss your concerns with both your GP and specialist, they should be on the same page when it comes to your treatment.

I'll move your thread into basic drug discussion so that you can get more responses.

All the best,
CFC
