After coming down from dosing 3x 70mg of Vyvanse throughout the past two days straight without sleep, which would help the comedown the greatest?
Tramadol, Hydrocodone, Trazadone or Hydroxyzine?

Tramadol - Increases seizure risk, serotonin syndrome?
Hydrocodone - Potentiates the d-amphetamine even more?
Hydroxyzine - Not powerful enough to negate the d-amphetamine?
Trazadone - Serotonin syndrome?

Out of those, probably hydrocodone and hydroxyzine. You don't have to take that much of the hydrocodone, the hydroxyzine will boost its sedative effects. Tramadol and trazodone sound very risky, I wouldn't touch those.

Add hydration, food, and hours to spare for watching cartoons and trying to fall asleep.

Tramadol - Do not take it.
Hydrocodone - I doubt it will potentiate the d-amphetamine at all. It is 100% safe to combine hydrocodone and amphetamines.
Hydroxyzine - This is actually a very underrated drug. I recommend taking it with the hydrocodone. By itself, hydroxyzine will help you sleep for sure, and soften the comedown. Mixed with hydrocodone, it will bring you down nice a easy. Of course, be reasonable with the dosages. 25-50mg hydroxyzine should be all you need.
Trazodone - Do not take it.

The best advice I can give you (coming from somebody who has been on plenty of d-amphetamine binges) is the following:

-Get yourself a nice big meal and eat all of it.
-Take some vitamins, specifically vitamin C and magnesium.
-Get hydrated. Lots of water is good, but sports drinks like Gatorade are better. Make sure you're drinking enough so your urine is light yellow or even clear. Keep staying hydrated throughout the comedown and have a bottle or glass of water next to the bed when you go to sleep.

Good luck :)

Promethazine is probably your best bet, I wouldn't bother with adding alcohol to the mix. Just make sure you eat a decent sized meal and get rehydrated, vitamins, etc.

If you don't have a tolerance to the promethazine, you may not need any more drugs. Otherwise, maybe throwing 0.5mg clonazepam on top of that will bring you down soft enough and certainly help you sleep.

Thanks for that, I have sports drink will be sure to drink a few glasses with a meal and a multivitamin. Is 3 days per week @ 25mg for the past few weeks enough for a tolerance to develop?

Probably not. I would say go with 50mg right off the bat anyway.

If the promethazine doesn't do the job, adding a small amount of clonazepam certainly will.

I was lucky enough to have an appointment with one of the most well respected ADHD specialist in the country (USA). He put me on Vyvanse and Trazodone to sleep. I have taken trazodone for 4 years on anything ranging from DXM, Tramadol, Dexedrine, Adderal etc. According to the Doc trazodone is a great medicine to take to sleep after a stimulant come down in it's ability to block the alpha drenergenic receptors. Either my vote is, some hydro, some hydroxyzine, and finally right before bed Trazodone. STAY away from the tramadol bad bad bad combination.

What's your recommended dosage for Trazadone? And, would kratom help a comedown at all?

Hi. I find Trazadone 12.5 - 25 mg plus .25-.5 Klonopin to be an essential Iremedy for any stimulant comedown (I also take 20 mg ziprasidone/Geodon-helps with anxiety, as a DA antagonist) and 20-40mg famotidine (Pepcid) . These are my regular bedtime meds and I take this combo when I feel the first signs of the crash hitting. (for me its anxiety, nausea and a mental weariness plus mild to moderate depressed mood.) After 30 minutes, I'm calm, relaxed and generally content. I could go to bed then but I wait another half hour because then I get hungry ( a side effect of the Trazadone). I can eat and enjoy it and go to bed and sleep easily. However, I feel like hell next day if I sleep very long, which I don't because stimulants give me the kid if insomnia where you can fall asleep fine but wake up to early the next day.
The amount if Trazadone is too small to worry about serotonin overload plus it is a serotonin antagonist at all receptors except 5HT 1a. I could never have tolerated Nuvigil, Adderall or Vyvanse crashes without these three drugs. For me there is no gradual lessening if effects, it's here and then in a space of 30 minutes, it's gone.
Hope this helps.

As this is a reply to a fairly old thread I'm going to go ahead and close it. If you would like to discuss this further, you can feel free to start a new thread. PM any questions.
