Vyvanse 30mg

I was perscribed this today. I've never taken stims other than coke and that has been many years ago. Will this medicine take some time to adjust to, or is it just too stong for me. I felt tweaked out most of the day. It did seem to provide a strong surge of energy and focus, but I felt alittle over stimulated, reminded me of the times I did a few lines too many.Would it be wise to take half of the capsule until I get used to it? Any thoughts please

Well if that dose was too much than just take half the next time. I'm surprised such a low dose got you so tweaked out. Good luck.

yeah I take vyvanse 70mg each day and they never tweaked me out hard,,but they are a long lasting pill-12-13 hours...crazy stuff,,you can only get the effects by taking it orally and it combines indie the small intestine with lysine to activate it into dextroamphetamine basicly...but i was on a lotta adderall before i switched to this Vyvanse 70mg,which is the highest dose..i took 60mg of adderall before statring Vyvanse this year..2 30 mg Adderall XR(extended release) capsules,,,but i use to do a lot of crystal meth and stuff when i was younger so i am used to stimulants , but the 70mg was a good dose even for me,but now after 7 + months sometimes i take open another capsule in the afternoon if i wanna stay up later than normal and swallow about anouther 1/3 or so of the second 70mg..so thats like 70+ 22-23,24is mg extra to get me back where the 70mg was tweaking me almost when i started,so tolerance does build up,just not that much and not that quickly ...

I took the it at 10 am and over twelve hours later I was still feeling it more than I would have liked. It's some crazy shit. Yeah I'm going to take half the amount and see if it helps.

what if he/she isn't able to take half b/c of capsule form?
if it is really too much for you that you do not foresee being able to adjust after a few days until your tolerance begins to initiate, then i would suggest asking your doc. for something with less kick.
stimulants aren't for everyone.

^ exactly. It was way too much for me. I emptied about half of the powder out of the capsule today. I will give this med a few days before passing judgement. I'm not a stim fan, not that there's anything wrong with that. Hell a redbull on occasion has given me the jitters. But whatever, this is only intended to be a temporary medication to help overcome this absurd bone crushing fatique I've been dealing with for a long time. If I'm still tweaking in a few days I'm going the LDN route.

Pour out contents of pill into cold water, mix and drink half the water. Bam. But ya seriously vyvanse is strong and long lasting as shit haha

Yep, feeling tweaked again, Probably doesn't help that I only got a few hours of poor sleep last night. Does it make things worse to be sitting idle? I'd like to think getting busy will help, I'm going to go and find out. I think I'd have a heart attack if I worked at my contruction job today. I can only imagine what smokin crack feels like........yuck!

^Yeah that reminds me of my 3-day stint with Ritalin, I just could not handle it, even at 10mg it felt like it turned me inside out and I was hovering on the brink of a panic attack the whole time, but I could totally handle Adderall.

Oh and yeah it DEFINITELY helped me to get busy on adderall, in fact thats when its strength and purpose really shines through, I can't sit around on anything speedy or I'll go nuts. I personally find it's best for when I'm outside and active.
