Ooh yeah... This is probably the best book I have ever read. It is really, really good.
For those who have yet to read this fantastic, prize-awarded SF novel:
The setting is a dystopia where the living is divided into four species; man, dog, robo and spectre. Our hero is a young, sensitve gangbanger who goes on a wild search for his long-lost sister.
There is *a lot* of drugs in the book, in the nature of "feathers". It so sensually written that you just know Jeff Noon has first-hand experience on drugs.
It is also quite a philosophical book, with the main question: What is real, anyway?
So, the book is Vurt, author Jeff Noon. Go buy it!
