I'll make it into a poll but I need a finalized list of candidates. I'll also try to find out if there is a "write-in" function for the poll. Also, 2c since this is your thread, if you want the avatars to appear as images in the poll you need to reduce the length of the image url's. You can do it at http://tinyurl.com/, and then post the images with the shortened url. I know its a lot of work, but hey, welcome to my world.

1. they're already hosted somewhere reliable. bluelight!

2. image properties for your avatar show the URL as: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/customavatars/avatar72447_36.gif

3. this URL is too long to fit in the poll options, therefore it needs to be shortened. go to www.tinyurl.com, paste that image URL into the box, and hit the button. that will give you a new shortened URL, in this case: http://tinyurl.com/6erggb

4. come back here and post that shortened URL as an image - et voila:
