I think the poll is gonna have to be names only, unfortunately. I haven't gotten any answer in my thread in support, so unless that happens soon, we'll have to forgo an image poll. I'm too tired tonight but I promise I'll do it tomorrow (as long as theres nothing good on TV )

^ one option would be to do the things as a number - two or more - brackets. if you want to do one huge poll, names only for the options works fine. the substance of the poll is more important that the style...

^Amy kept suggesting this "brackets" phenomena, and if thats the way to make it work tell me what I can do to help. I'd love to get this thing off the ground, but a feel like a shite for coming up with this pain in the ass endeavor.

^ say you have 40 avatars, you just do 2 seperate semi-final polls of 20 putting through the top 10 avatars from each to a final poll.

I like alasdair's idea. It will help the vote numbers in the end, IMO. Same number of people voting on a final short list will likely produce more definitive results.
