Opioids Vomitting

Tonight i took 90mg DHC and 180mg of Codeine (neither of which had anything else in paracetamol etc).

For the first time ever on these i just threw up. I've taken more than this before and never had this reaction. Took the drugs 3 hours ago.

Few questions:

Why now? and
Will that ruin my high now? Did i vomit the pills up?

What did you last eat? How much, what about water? What is the temperature like? What about your body temp? What kind of clothes are you wearing? How long have you had the pills? How do you store your food? Is your dishwasher clean? .....I'm going to stop there.
 
sometimes people throw up depending on their mood.
did you eat before you took them? was it right after you took em?
dhc? is that benadryl?
 
I keep a pretty usual routine, i ate dinner, albiet a small one around 5 so 2 hours before the pills, same as always. I did however start to get really warm about an hour ago which doesnt normally happen. Been drinking water, not a lot.

Pills aren't old, took some from the same batch yesterday. DHC is dihydrocodiene, generic not mixed with anything.
 
I would try Promethazine 25MG (or even 50MG) to control your nausea/vomiting. It comes with an added bonus: when you use it for nausea associated with opioids, it will potentiate said opioid. Just be careful you don't take too much. Most anybody can obtain a prescription for Promethazine tabs from their PCP (primary care proviodor) or if you need to, you can go to the ER and complain of nausea and vomiting for (x) amount of days, and they will write you a script for Promethazine (usually the 25MG strength). The last time I went to the hospital, was just a few weeks ago, I was given Promethazine IV and sent home with #20 Promethazine 25MG tabs and #20 Promethazine 25MG suppositories. Good luck!
 
Perhaps your tolerance went down since the last time you had a larger dose and now are feeling opiate overload?

Nausia is common, and often unavoidable for some people.

I have a feeling someone in ADD knows the specific answer to this.
 
Ive been doing opiates for 2 years and i use to puke alot but now i dont. Every now and again i puke cause i think its from stress. Alot of the people i know say that when they puke they get higher, and after they puke that they feel ok. Hope ya feel better bro.
 
Thanks for the advice guys, i actually feel better after throwing up, high hasn't gone but the temperature has. Just thought it odd throwing up on a dose i've handled fine before.
 
Could be from prolonged exposure to opiates and opiods, in which they're fucking up your sinus and making you secrete a lot more drip. Not a good time to swallow pills imo. A tongue scraper and antihistamines could help, as well as an antiemetic (smoking weed comes first to mind, since you don't have to swallow a pill).
 
when you intentionally poison your body (to get high) it has a way of saying "no more" and getting rid of the toxin - aka puking.

This is a common side effect of opiates. You didn't ruin your high, and it is not dangerous so long as you aren't asleep.
