Heroin Voice loss due to Heroin?

Every time i go on a Heroin IV binge
(1-2 weeks long all day/daily use each binge)
I start to lose my voice a few days in. Kinda like after a concert??

Anyone ever experience this? How can this possibly be due to Heroin use? I know it has to be that because it only happens when I am using?
 
Do you think this is caused directly from the H, or indirectly from a behavior pattern like excessive smoking or not drinking enough fluids while on H?
 
Bingo!!! Has to be dehydration, and i always smoke 2 packs/day so yeah, i drink less water during periods or using.
 
Opiates have a way of lowering ones voice also ime. I imagine it has something to do with your vocal chords relaxing.
 
They don't call it horse (hoarse) for nothing.
