I'm amazed how well this works, I been taking calcium Ascorbate (500 mg every hour) and it COMPLETELY takes care of my oxycontin withdrawals.

Vit. C can be bought in any drug or health food store. Its cheap and very effective.

You have to figure out the right dosage, you can sense this yourself. If 10 grams a day still leaves you feeling with some WD you just double the dosage. Vit. C is harmless, you cannot overdose, all you can get is diarrhea. When that happens you simply cut back the dosage a little

Seems kinda hard to believe, but there is an thread in ADD about an old study on this.
Its working wonderfully for me right now. Day 1 into quitting oxy's and ZERO withdrawal. You have to take it 1 hour after your last oxy dose, and then every hour take 500 mg. Probably more if you're a heavy oxy or heroin user, you can sense how much you should take yourself

lol thats totally ridiculous. vitamin c will not stop withdrawal from opiates. if this were possible, trust me, we'd all know about it.

by the way if youre on day 1, you havent even started hurting yet... when im coming off ocs it takes me at least 3 days for the wd to kick in full force. guaranteed you will be feeling shitty by tomorrow night.

Lmaooo. I agree n was thinking the same... Ur looking at like the 36-48hr mark before you begin to actually w/d, that is if your even physically addicted in the first place..

Why dont you stop being an idiot and try it for yourself.
I'm into day 2 now and still not even a hint of any withdrawals!

And no, you need sodium ascorbate, potassium ascorbate or calcium ascorbate.
Regular ascorbic acid will also work but it gives you diarrhea.

But fine, dont take my word for. Go through your WD hell, see if I care

Lol r u sure your physically dependent to begin with? 2) wat is your daily dose of opiates that your w/d from? 3) ahh the magic of suboxone. Lol
It doesnt matter if I meet the official diagnosis of an addict. I was popping quite a few Oxy's and codeine pills each day for my excruciating lower back pain. I always would start feeling the WD's after about 12 hrs of my last dose. With some people its even less, more like 6 hrs: http://alcoholism.about.com/od/oxy/a/oxycontin.htm

Right now I'm into day 2 and I feel great!

The man who runs his Vit. C clinic is a registered doctor, you'd think he would know what he's talking about dont you?!

There are plenty of doctors who support "huge breakthrough Tx's " for lots of things. I had a doctor selling me scripts for 90ct bottles of oxy every single day does that mean he knows what he's talking about? Doctors wanna make a buck just as much as any pitchman on tv does. I'm not doubting u saying your not getting relief, but I just find it hard 2 believe that VC is sum magical cure all for w/d. The w/d isn't caused by a vc deficiency, and I don't see how the body when suddenly deprived of a chem it's become dependent on will trick itself into not needing it anymore without an opiate maintenance simply because of a vitamin. Don't you think it'd be more widely used rather than methadone and other substances? And I'd think since your a w/ding self described drug addict yourself you wouldn't sound so degrading with the term.. Or not knowing my background.

I looked at that page, and that guys obviously a "conspiracy theorist". Amazing how he worked John Wilkes boothe being an agent for an English bank and Kennedy being an inside job caused by the fed reserve into his vitamin therapy... Lol. Just sayin
I have to agree with you on that, he kinda lost me with that paragraph.

But damn, the VitC works amazingly!! I feel even better today than I did yesterday. I switched brands from SISU to 'Natural Factors' and the latter works better IMO, they dont put all those other ingredients in it like dextrose and fructose, it is pure ascorbate

Then dont try it, I really dont care.

Enjoy your WD hell

im an idiot for doubting that vitamin c is the miracle cure for opiates? and im not going to try it because im not going to get readdicted to opiates just to test your silly theory. anyway, im just sayin theres no fuckin way vitamin c prevents withdrawal.

Because I'm not addicted to opiates and have no intention of becoming so just to see if you are full of shit or not.
You guys remind me of Gary Busey in Sober House, who claimed not to be an addict but a "participant" :D 8)
