From what I understand, most people see a little bit of static in their vision. I see a little more than most people, but have learned to ignore it and its not debilitating at all. Now my question is, will doing LSD intensify this visual phenomena? Or is it in a different category completely? I got the more intense Visual Snow from a DXM trip where I lost my vision completely. (all I saw was fuzzy colors in the form of the objects that were there) ever since then, the snow is moderately increased. Will LSD increase it further? any thoughts?

It may, and it may not.

For myself and other people we only started seeing it after we took LSD and abstaining from all psychedelic drugs even smoking herb for about 6 months to a year or more made it go away.

edit: I'm talking about seeing visual snow when you're sober and not on any drugs at all and how it can increase after you take LSD for some people.

personally i would say the serotonergic psychedelics (lsd, shrooms, 2c-x) do not really increase visual snow during the trip. however many people have noted an increase of visual snow AFTER the trip.

i would say the LSD visuals are coming from the same part of the brain that the visual snow is normally being filtered away from, but the visuals themselves are nowhere near "snow" in appearance.

the thing is that its real, its not a hallucenation. There really is static on all objects, but most peoples brains filter that out. Do you think the mind expanding/sensory overload of LSD just left an imprint? or in my case DXM.. either way I just dont want to have it so bad i cant see lol It used to bother me, but if im mentally and emotionally stable, then who really cares about a small visual quirk?

so do you think that since I already have the visual snow, that it would get really bad after lsd? Like I said, I just dont want to get it this bad http://www.visualsnow.com/examples/pictures/index_files/page1-1000-full.html
