Visual problems after E?

how much did you take ?

if its still present in lets say another 2 or 3 weeks it might take some time to wear of.

and regarding the smoking, i would strongly advice to stop, i have never heard of cannabis being useful to those symptoms, in fact it seems to make it worse.

give your brain some time to fix these things. and stay away from alcohol too.

best of luck and keep us updated.

Looks like you have mild HPPD visuals to me, it should go away with time, how much time? That nobody can tell, the recovery differs from users but I would say it can be anywhere between a few weeks (2-4) to several months (10+). Also smoking and drinking can easily make the recovery last much longer (almost double). If I was you, I would stay clean of everything for some weeks and see if it get's any better.

Also don't be to much worried, I have mild HPPD (No static though, just lights looking like on my comedown) for 2 weeks post-roll, and I still see that way and I've been clean of everything. I hope it will go away soon.

The more lights in your eyes while the. are dielated the longer your going to trail. After a good weekend could been trailing or color surfing for a while.

hey tokersrule,

good thing you stopped cannabis, thats important.

do you take benzos now ? if you can, please stop them too, they can be horribly addictive and the best environment for your brain now is complete sobriety.

from all the recovery threads, there may be some supplements which can aid your brain healing:

- fish oil
- vitamin c
- green tea extract
- piracetam
- turmeric
- alcar
- healthy diet
- exercise

since you didn't roll often prior to this i understand, it should go away with time, unfortunately we cannot say how long it will take.

i think seeing a good neurologist cannot hurt either.

best of luck to you

Hi, it is now 5-6 days after my first "intense" roll. I have done half the dose of molly's 2 times previous. I believe i could have taken MDMA or a research chemical with MDMA-like properties.

My problem is that my vision is now slightly blurry (on another note i can also see "rainbow static" especially in the dark, but i have seen it receding day by day) Also got heavy trails

So for the more experienced: Is this normal for a week or two after usage? (the less-than sharp vision) Or is this likely to be permanent?

I can't help thinking about it, and it's driving me crazy.

I made a thread about it's effects on the brain, and got some great advice, but wanted to make one soley for my vision symptoms and see if you guys have any insight towards it. Thanks a bunch in advance

P.S. I smoke nightly for my insomnia, but also notice it kind of magnify's these effects for the time being(rainbow static, vision going blurry, tuning in and out sometimes even, as well as the trails) Would it be useful to stop for a while? Or is it just in vain?

Once again thanks

Hi I saw your post and wanted to see if I could shed some light. I think I've had the ranbow snow my whole life but I remember I mostly got it when i was in the pitch dark or the odd time. Then after I started smoking pot in highschool i started getting it a little more frequently, it didn't bother me however. Then when halloween came of last year i tried e my first time, I went way overboard doing it every friday and saturday at the club for around 5 or 6 months. Even the odd monday so from this time I had around 150 -200 pills but now I've learned to respect it and wait inbetween use. However everynight after the bar me and my buddys would blaze and this would always just boost the roll so intensely everytime and usually everytime I was the only one who'[d see stuff. like a recycling bin was a lady walking her dog, a trree was two people fighting, or I'd be hearing songs from that night later on in the car when it wasn't on. I remember every night I came home at about 5 when I'd come down i'd see purple dots not like my rainbow snow but very big purple dots everywhere I looked. It would last a fair amount and then same thing blurry vision. I can't remember one night where I haven't blazed on the comedown so I have no clue if this combo has caused it. However right at the ends of my heavy use I was getting severe panic attacks, very bad anxiety, paranoia all the bad things and the visualsnow was present al the time.

Then one day at work I smoked up on break came back and was talking to a buddy when i was kinda outta breathe and saw big purple and green dots over his face where I could barely see him. That was 4 months or so ago and that kinda was my breaking point since then I'[ve done mdma twice and used to blaze daily and have stopped altogether except for my comedowns the nights i rolled. I will tell you whatever problems you have smoking weed will make it ten times worse, read that from a poster on the internet and he was right. All the problems have left and for sleep i take melatonin works good.

However the one thing that hasn't gone is the visual snow. Kind of weird though if I look at something black or dark I see those dots everywhere. To be honest it's in my vision 24/7 but it doesn't really bother me or affect how i see. I always had this but I'm sure when i overdid it this was the case but it seems to have made my vision better as I can see more details in things. I did ask my doctor about it and she said if I'd used a lot of drugs that could be a result of some permanent brain damage but she said it could have to do with staring at bright lights, being dizzy, change of temperature. Take it for what it'[s worse cause I know ppl who have it like me and they've never done drugs. I'[d say best thing is to take a good 6 month break from mdma and stop smoking weed altogether, and yeah probably best to see a special eye doc for that than a reg doctor. Hope it gets better!

hey toker does your vision seem weird during the day ?

as your in a bit of a weed high (kinda hard to explain) you feel asif it takes a second for things to catch up ?

is your short term memory bad aswell?.....explain your symptoms as i maybe going through the same things as you at the moment

Hi there, constant mephedrone abuse completely deteriorated my 20/20 vision. I now wear glasses and it sucks. But that was alot of droning lol, i doubt yours will be permanent since you've only done mandy a few times dude

im a dude haha to

well basically nearly 6 weeks ago i took 0.5g of mdma, bout 3 days later i started feeling really funny, my vision seemed weird like everything was going on but i just couldnt grasp on to people around me and everything moving fast was like a blur (hard to explain). my short term memory was really bad and still is now to be honest but has got a little better. my anxiety was up the wall, i was panicking non stop because i didt know what was wrong with me , i would worry about the stupidiest things ( i thought i was going insane), this lasted for about 2 weeks.

I took neurozan ( a brain functioner tablet to improve performance which really made me back to normal for a few days but i decided to stop them as it was not solving the problem but masking it. After a few days my vision went weird again. Also my concentration was just complete awful, i couldnt think straight atall.

Every week has seen an improvement and im now MUCH better than i was, things are now starting to go back to normal and my personality and wits are starting to come back, iv looked up alot on forums and all over the internet and have found many people have had these problems from mdma and ecstasy use but i think the only real medicine to this problem is time. Your brain needs time to get back to normal, iv read it can take 1-6 months to get back to normal and 1.5 year to fully recover but i think its down to the person and not everyone obviously. Everyone heals at different speeds with this because everyones body is different. I never had the snow vision atall it just seems that like my living life weird, i feel like im not in reality properly, like im not myself if you know what i mean ? you would usually go around doing stuff normal but it just feels like you havent got your fast usually self about you because your vision is weird, its hard to describe but if you read this and understand what im saying then you probably are going through the same things i am, time is the only healer plus exercise, eating well and getting enough sleep, these things will get you to full recovery, dont get on any antidepressants or anything else i believe as you shouldnt put even more chemicals in your brain , i guess it just takes time to heal mate, as you said your improving every day ever so slighty, a positive attitude is crucial also as i read it opens up pathways in your brain for the connections to rematch, (i read from someone who had the exact same thing which you have with snow vision and said he studied about the brain) but anyways good luck it will be fine ! im healing and so are you :) the brain is an amazing thing, it can heal through hard damage so just stay positive and your be fine mate
