Vistaril and large amounts of oxycodone

This is my first post here so I will start by apologizing if I am in the wrong place. Lets get right to it.

I just got a script of 25mg Vistaril for anxiety. Now I know it's not a benzo, but I still have some concerns taking it as i do have an oxycodone habit.

My question is, can I take 25-50mg of Vistaril with my normal oxycodone dose? (75mg), everywhere I've read about this combo being safe the OP's were only taking 10-25mg of oxy. With my dose being significantly higher, is this safe to use together?

I was prescribed them both as well. My doctor told me only to take it at night, as it was meant for sleep and not to drive on vistaril.

Anyone else have any input on taking vistaril with this high an oxycodone dose?
