Hi.
I hope this is the right place to post this.
I have been experiencing starburst halos after a night of MDMA, especially from car lights and some lamp posts, etc. Halos around traffic lights are also huge now during night time. I have had visual snow and floaters for about a year (tho I think I've always had visual snow, but because of being stressed and I suffer from anxiety I notice it more now. I don't notice it during times where I am not stressed), but never the starbursts. It's like streaks of light coming from light sources. I have done MDMA maybe once a year since 2013. In september I had a 3-4 day binge (I know, stupid!!), I felt like crap for a week but then I felt normal again. About 6 weeks later I did MDMA one more time, and this is about 12 weeks ago (I did a little bit of coke in November, but didn't experience any worsening of symptoms). The night after last time I did MDMA I suddenly experienced the starbursts around lights. I am just wondering if anyone else here has experienced the same thing, and if it has gotten any better after a while? I did go see an optometrist, and my eyes are fine, but he did comment on my pupils being a little bit big and that they don't dilate as they should in the dark. I have also noticed my pupils are bit smaller than my friends when we are in places with dim lighting. I am considering going to see an ophthalmologist, although I don't know if there is any point to it.
I am never doing drugs again, because I am afraid it will make my vision worse than it already is, and that is not worth it. Suffering from anxiety, it doesn't help my symptoms any further, because I kind of obsess over them (which is the biggest problem, really). I am planning on contacting my doctor to get help with my anxiety, start working out and eating healthy. Just try to continue with my life, even though it seems very hard now.
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else here has had a similar experience, and if it has gotten any better. Here is a picture of what the starbursts look like, but it is not as extreme as the picture shows: http://tinyurl.com/jm6tn4u
Thanks to anyone reading this! I don't need to be told how stupid I was for doing so much MDMA in September, I know. It was a festival, and all my friends were doing it so I was just going along for the ride and not thinking. I regret doing it again so short after, I should've waited or just not done it again at all.
