Violent Mood Swings Coming Off Benzos?

i dont know if this belongs here.. so sorry mods if this is the wrong place for this.


but yea.. does anyone else get really really really angry when they're coming off of benzos? or is it just me?

everything is really pissing me off, stuff that doesnt even matter and im worried im just going to explode on someone for no reason.. im usually not an angry guy. i dont mess with people and i dont often express anger towards others but right now a little old lady could ask me for help crossing the street and I'd probably punch her in the face.
 
i am on xanax now due to this mood swing thing i alllways got with klonopin when i was upset. fuck that shit. if this doesnt work I will go back to valium no doubt.
 
how long does it usually last for? what can i do besides take more drugs to help it go away? this has never really happened to me before..
 
B&O: Think your doctor will put you back on Valium?

Lucid: Nothing you can do because its drug induced so you'd have to find another drug to counteract it which would be stupid. Taking a mood stabilizer or anti-psychotic because you get mood swings from benzodiazepines isn't worth it.
 
see i dont really take benzos so much but for almost a week now ive been taking ativan to help with some minor heroin withdrawal.. which im sure isnt really helping my mood. but im pretty sure the anger is from the benzos cause ive never had this reaction when withdrawing from heroin or any other opiate. my last dose of ativan was early this morning and i started feeling this way around noon.

so i guess ill just try to wait it out... am i looking at a couple days of this? or jsut till whats in my system wears off?

Oh yes. Most def. If im not responding well to it, well its useless. 1mg popped. I think its settling me down for sure and it was fast.... :\ :D sorry but my phone bebe its in my asss pushing up on my prostate...ohhh yeaaaaaaaa lol

FUCKING WORD! its a big wtf to me lately. I dont get how thats going to help me by altering my brain and making me Think different? suck my diiick but helll no any doctor that gives me that i set the bottle down and never pick it up. that shit is sooo stupid and more habit forming with Worse withdrawals because of sucidal thoughts than anything. jeebs..... psh. haters.:|:|:|:|:|:|:|hatehatehate and i ateateate a cliffbar

nah dude go back and say it worked ok for anxiety but my muscles are cramped up now and its putting a load on my body and ask for valium ectect....way better for heroin wd imho but i dunno ativan is supposed to prevent nausea...but i doubt it would stop opiate related nausea
 
i made this post a few hours ago and i feel much better now lol.. for a while there i was having a mental breakdown 8( but now im basically fine. thats never really happened to me before.

thanks for the input guys. i definitely appreciate it.
 
It sucks but it happens. I went into klonopin WD last christmas because of some weird paranoia about klonopin and opiates... Bad idea. I had a psychotic outburst ripping down the tree and throwing ornaments around the house.. basically acting like a complete nutcase. I am glad my kid was not here to witness the fireworks and I will never do anything like that again.
