Vinegar vs Lemon Juice to break down crack, IV coke use in artery as opposed to vein.

SWIM is a long time IV drug user, primarily opiates but also cocaine and crack. Recently he is been on a very expensive month long coke/crack binge. He worries about the sheer amount of vinegar that he has injected lately to break down the crack. Does anyone know if that is the best method to shoot crack or is lemon juice or something else less abrasive? Also, SWIM recently has been having trouble locating an injection spot, especially first thing in the morning. He has a Dilaudid habit that he addresses every day and when using his hands and wrists, from time to time he injects in an artery instead of a vein. He can tell because the blood is bright red. But he still gets the rush and it seems to function just fine. But when he shoots crack or cocaine into the same artery in his hand, he doesnt get the full effect that he would get if it were injected into a vein. So my question would be why is it that he gets the full effect using that spot with opiates but not with cocaine.

First off, stop using arteries to inject! It could lead to terrible complications. And use pure citric acid not lemon juice or vinegar. You must have wrecked your veins man....

I broke down crack and IV'ed it a few times. Then, during a prison bid, a crack dealer from one of the neighborhoods I used to score from told me that his brother used to mix auto brake fluid in when he cooked up his crack. I never shot crack again.

I had a friend who was sold break fluid as heroin, they shot a "20" of it and died within 5 minutes.

don't use lemon juice. it is not sterile and the bacteria in it can cause blindness.

use distilled white vinegar, as little as needed and dilute the shot with water. or small amounts of cirtric acid.

stop shooting into your arteries unless you want to die.

Do not shoot into a artery! That can easily cause you to loose a limb, kill you or cause a stroke and you'll end up a brain dead vegetable. Why can't you just buy powder coke instead of crack? It's usually just as easy to get so if you must shoot up blow use powder. Failing that most needle exchanges have vitamin C which is a much safer way of breaking down crack.

As a former IV coke user i know how compulsive it is and how much it makes all common sense or self preservation go out the window. My advice would be to stop using the needle altogether really because once you reach the point of doing shit that can make you loose limbs or kill you such as shooting into arteries you really should seek help ASAP. If however your not going to do that try and stick to the pipe instead. It's not safe by any means but much safer then shooting into a fucking artery! Failing that atleast stick to injecting into veins but don't inject into any other places besides your arms or hands. All the people i know who have done dumb shit like shoot into their cock or a artery have all been IV coke addicts.

The stuff you're talking about is waay beyond that. And, you're talking to someone who once shot stale beer into a vein. Amoung other things.
Listen to the advice given and (above), if you must, seek OTHER POTENTIATORS, ....my only advice. You're headed for a dangerous place.
And not like 'nice and dangerous' dangerous....but just 'dead on a slab, painful as shit' dangerous...

Haha. Thanks for all the advice. I will make sure that the next time the blood registers bright red as opposed to dark red, I will NOT inject (as hard as that is when you are an Instant gratification driven type A personality high on coke).

That's a good idea. Seriously do NOT inject into arteries, regardless of if you got lucky in the past and seemed fine. But are you sure it even actually was an artery though? Some venous blood can be different shades of red.

As for acid options, do NOT use lemon juice, it can make you go blind or give you fungal or bacterial infections. The best option would be to use citric acid or pure ascorbic acid (pure - not just random vitamin C tablets or drink mix that contains other ingredients). Citric acid can be found at grocery stores and home-brewing shops. The third choice would be distilled white vinegar, some people suggest boiling it first to be on the safe side, and it is damaging to veins (all acids are going to damage your veins somewhat but vinegar and lemon juice are worse than citric acid or ascorbic acid). Also try to use as little of whatever acid you're using as possible.
