Of course, who doesn't. This shouldn't even be a topic. If you don't like vics then something is wrong with you. THey are the one drug that is unanimously appreciated and loved by all lemmings and forest gnomes, this includes subcategories like lawn dwarfs and midgets with helmuts.

of course they're awesome, but BE CAREFUL...it didn't take all that long for my body to become addicted to them and trust me...withdrawal was a bitch. you definately don't want to get to that point. it was BAD!!so remember that old word-moderation.

I actually don't like Vicodin that much. If it's free, I'll take it just because. But I don't get much as far as pleasant effects. Otherwise the only reason I'll take it is to quell withdrawals if I've been binging on Oxy's or Percs and run out of those.
I still can't figure out why it doesn't do much for me, either. Even a high dose of codeine will get me off if my tolerance is low at the time. The other weird thing is that hydrocodone in cough syrup does get me off, but any form of it in a pill doesn't. Weird.
 
Yeah, they're fun, but not that great. I find I like even codeine better, hydrocodone makes me too spacy. Think Soviet and I are in the minority, tho.
 
For me, hydrocodone lacks the euphoria/ happiness I get from oxycodone. I find that 40 mgs of oxycodone is a VERY nice feeling and 60mgs of hydrocodone is rather disappointing in comparison. But, everybody reacts differently to different drugs. I just wish I was one of the ones who could get off on hydrocodone since it is so easily available.

I don't think Vikes are all that wonderful either. Of course oxy's and percs are going to be preferred by nearly everyone, they're just a better, stronger drug. The only time I've ever puked from an opiate is when I did 20mg of hydrocodone. Thats kind of odd considering percs, oxy's, methadone, and codiene have never given me a problem, and they all get me off better too. I guess I shouldn't bitch too much, I'm taking a couple 10mg vikes and oxy's this afternoon and getting pierced. I hate needles, so hopefully this will make it a more pleasant experience. Besides, as a med student I have to get over this whole fear-of-needles thing eventually.

Actually maybe I've just had the wrong type of vicodin or something, but I wasn't affected too greatly. I got MUCH better "results" with Oxycodone.

Yeah, don't think anyone likes hydrocodone better than oxy. How much were you taking spiderman? Vics will give me a decent buzz, but I can't take more than 30mg; even that gets me all itchy and nauseous.

it seems like fans of vicodin are in the minority here...but that generally goes along with my observations on the drug. I also prefer oxy's and percs any day of the week...the euphoria is way more noticeable. I can parachute 5 vicodin and not catch much of a discernable buzz, but 3 oxy's and I'm loving life...
If only I were going to mexico...the pharmacies! god love the pharmacies!

i'd take oxy's or percosets over vicodin anyday, but it's a LOT easier for me to get vicodins. they're probably one of the easiest drugs for me to get my hands on, and that's where my problem with them came from.

I have used both hydrocodone (the active ingredient in vicoden) and oxycodone (oxycontin) in decent quantities, and in my opionon hydrocodone for me is a better high. The feeling is more body and relaxed as compared to the more intense rush of oxycodone. Don't get me wrong i love oxycodone but i think i would take a bottle of tussionex over some oc's
