Video game: Tekken 6

Coming to both PS3 and 360 on October 27. I guess they are selling a bundle with an arcade stick for both systems for around 150. I'm gonna get the game at least and I hope I'm not let down cause it's certainly been awhile for us americans. Not too sure about spending 100 bucks on a joystick though.

I already have a 360 and am planning on getting a PS3 within a week or so. I wonder which one I should get it for. I do not have a stick yet so I will be buying this one. I'm glad I waited and didn't get the sf4 one as I'm a much bigger tekken fan

i can't remember what the last tekken game i played was on ps2... its been awhile but im looking forward to learning a new fighter, especially a 3d one.

I ended up getting it for PS3. Only because I just got the PS3. The game is great. Classic tekken goodness.

The online versus is flawless. I haven't experienced much if any lag. I've been a 360 guy since the next gen thing started and I have to say I think PSN is faster. Granted I haven't played tekken 6 on both consoles but, just based on my overall experience with XBL. There are plenty of players and the matches start real quick in under a minute. If you're like me and have both systems I'd highly recommend the PS3 version. You won't be second guessing the purchase.

only have 360. i've been reading the t6 thread over @ srk http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=212662&page=21 im on the fence, i know id enjoy the gameplay but i don't have anyone in real life to play with, so id get it to play people online and it doesn't sound too appealing, tho some like yourself say its fine. although they also talk shit about street fighter 4 online and sf4 online is smooth for me... hmm ima have to think about this for a minute.

Actually now that you mention it sf4 online performed just as good. I'm more partial to tekken myself, though I did like sf4. IMO they are both as different as 2 fighting games can be from each other.

I can't really understand people talking shit about either games online play. I don't have a t1 connection or something either, just regular comcast cable. From what I gather you can play people all over the world instead of being regional and still out of probably 40 games last night I got 1 slow one that I attributed to my opponents connection. I'm willing to bet the people bitching are on their parents cheep ass internet with some crappy router on the second floor while their room is in the basement.
