video game: Rock Band (PS2/PS3/Xbox 360)

I just got this game for xbox360, i know im a little late to the party, but isnt this game sick? im usually into shooters, sports games, but i wanted something different after beating guitar hero 3 on expert. Let me tell you those drums are no joke, it will take me forever to master those. The guitar it came with is nice, i like not having a clicky strummer like on GH. The mic is cool also, the mutliplayer aspect of it is sick........ Anyone wanna jam on XBoxLIVE?

I also bought rock band because I wanted more songs to play on expert guitar. I'm still getting used to the buttons being the fretboard itself, and I still can't use those mini tapping buttons. Overall, it's pretty challenging, i'm stuck on a song right now on expert.

I'm finding that the drums are the spotlight instrument of the game, though. Maybe that's just me because I've only played the game alone so far.

One last thing, about Xbox Live, my friend installed the update for rockband and it fried his 360 (RROD), so I haven't taken the risk yet. Did you install it yet? I also saw a youtube video showing how the update de-synchronizes the drums with some HDTVs.

Not only do GH/RB player play real instruments, they play MULTIPLE instruments. And they do it seriously, implying that they do it very well.

This isn't just the minority of GH/RB players, this is MOST of them.

The majority of guitar hero players play many instruments very well.
