I was sitting playing with the headphones on & started lolling like fuck & the wife came through asking what was so funny. Getting her to understand humour is normally a nightmare, so explaining that I clipped a parked car as I recklessly passed it & caused an innocent bystander to shout "cheesy vaginas!" provided me with a more than pitiful look.

I'm around the 46% mark & loving every minute.

i laughed out loud the other day when i was being chased by cops, had almost left their radius and collided with a barrier i didn't see causing niko to fly through the windshield. as he got up he said "not fucking funny!"


oh and last night, the mobiel phone text at one stage was unreadable even when i was up close to the screen. it was a dark blur. and i have a nice flat screen crt or a decent size. this fuckin mobile phone text is shitting me badly.

Adjust he angle of your phone. Depending on where the sun is and which direction Niko is facing the text will be hard to see, just like a phone IRL. Get out of teh direct sun.

I think I'm going to shift over from the main missions and do all the side quests like the flying rats and stunt jumps like you said your going to do Lefty. I don't want this game to end just yet. I want to savor it.

Has anyone been doing those little side quest that will pop every now and then? They show up as a little blue symbols shaped like stick figures on the radar. Some of those are pretty fun.

I did one where some random guy on the street asked me to follow his wife and take pictures of her with some guy that she is fucking on the side. So naturally I whipped out my rocket launcher and blew both of them to hell for their adulterous ways. So then Niko calls the guy back and tells the guy that he didn't like they way that they were hurting him and he killed them. The guy went apeshit and started rambling on how I killed his one love.

There's a lot of those spread throughout the game, thats the only where I didn't help the person. I'm not that cold hearted, even in GTA.

^ I did that quest but my job interview came up at the same time so I decided to follow them so close they would see me. Well after the mission failed called the guy and he accused me of sleeping with his wife too :D

Attention to detail factoid: When you shoot a chinese person, they actually say (roughly translated from Cantonese)... "I'll fucking kill you" or an expletive to that effect.

have you tried centering the camera down on the street? i have a 1080p 52 inch tv and they were hard to read at first i bumped up the contrast and pointed the camera down at a dark image (road not sidewalk) and i can read them clearly

tried guidos suggestion and it makes a difference. the missus and i are talking new tv now. possibly. maybe. fingers crossed.
