The X-com games, terror from the deep, ufo: enemy unkown and apocalypse.

Probably THE best turn-based (for the most part) strategy games ever to exist%)

yeah, i used to play the hell out of terror from the deep.

actually i recently tried to load it on my pc, but apparently it doesn't like my video card as the graphics are all scrambled.

ULTIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Crap.

Just seeing pictures from UO makes me shudder still.... that game made me almost fail out of fucking school. I can withstand drug & alcohol addiction just fine, but UO addiction... not a fucking chance.

^yeah, its like...you spend like an hour smoking weed and you'll be high for awhile whereas you only get the ultima-high WHILE you are playing...shit, i used to clock in like 6 hours a day and take BREAKS for weed lol.

Bump (for my favorate thread in a while).

Anyone remember Beneath a Steel Sky?

SCORTCHED EARTH!!! Oh christ, what I would give for a workable copy of that game....

i still have one

its at my parents house i think, next time i visit them ill bring it home and load it up on my pc and send it to whomever wants it on aim, its only like 1mb

^ Me too. The problem is that it doesnt have a frame limiter on it. So you can play but you can only adjust the angle to 0 degrees (left) or 180 degrees (right). Unless your playing on a 486 or somethin....

I had an amiga 500 when i was about 4 so most of these are from that:

*speed ball (best game ever)
*california games
*plutoss (sp?)
*boulderdash
*robo cop (there were a few)
*road rash
*lost dutchman's mine

and for some others:

*drug wars
*front mission 3
*high grow ( grow pot on your puda ;))
*sonic the hedgehog
*pinball madness
*booty call the game's (all of them are fun)
*rainbow island

=D

I find it hard to believe there isn't a playable version of Scorched Earth floating around on the web somewhere.

Oh Im sure there is. And you can get programs that will hog all of your processor so it runs the same speed as a 486. Im just talking about the original copy (which the woods bound to have at his mom and dads house- thats where my copy resides too =D).

Look at sorcerers link on the previous page, see if that copy works.... I just cant be arsed searching for it....

Settlers III & The Quest of The Amazons
Nox
Populous series
Broken Sword
Alice

I still love them, play them.

Oregon Trail, Number Munchers, Civilisation I (II and III), and there was this fishing game I used to play way back when in the early 90s but I don't know the name of it...

Damm.....I remember when the Amiga came out.......When floppy disks turned hard....

Bad ass gaming machine though:)

I nearly shed a tear reading through this immaculate collection.

Does anyone remember that game where you had a puzzle, and like, these objects and you had to solve the puzzle with careful and considerate placements of the objects. You had things like mirrors, lasers and I really can't remember, which is why I'm asking. Lol.
I think your talking about the Incredible Machine?

I cannot beleive Full Throttle has not been mentioned....That game is most certainly classic gaming material.

Wacky Wheels (2-player)
Slicks'n'Slides....OMG I remembered it!
