Bioshock is Awesome!!

That game is a REAL trip. I really feeling like it 's a big step forward in Gaming.

The technology is finally getting into the hand of some visionaries here.
Killer Graphics - YES
Amazing Art - YES YES
Good story - (I'm an adventure fan) Yes

Well optimized- YES! I'm so sick of games that are cool but run like crap (Hello Oblivion!)

And it's fun. Usually don't care about that these days but it is.

they did show a lot of game play which I think is being pretty honest about your game and it looks like a lot of fun

I rented the system and game for this week for my birthday
so damn good,
definitely a step forward in gaming. The theme, gameplay and art production all combine to create a masterpiece. This is what games are all about. Fucking awesome. I'm glad there are still developers out there creating highly original and shocking stuff

the only real downfall is that the levels are a tad linear...and I like having breaks, like in the UN building in Deus Ex, between the high-tension missions and such

still, those moments where you're like "....oh...shit...." are oh so sweet

my favourite thing was art direction though. they organised the whole 40s/futuristic, "new" nazist type thing extremely well. The game is philosophical, which is great for this type of game (like System Shock or Deus Ex).

I didn't want to start a new thread regarding bioshock so I utfse and found this.


I just got this game off of ebay used and it was one of my best purchases in a LONG time. The graphics are nothing short of amazing, and maybe its my hdtv but the water effects and animation when you fire different weapons is just superb.

Now I know graphics aren't everything and dont make or break the game.... addictive gameplay and a quality playing experience counts the most... ANd although I have only played it a few hours im VERY impressed. Its been out for quite some time but if any other bluelighter has it still or just got it.... and wants to play co op with me... pm me for sure! I am dying to play co-op but would like to beat the game solo first.....

In terms of story, characterisation & atmosphere, Bioshock is one of the greatest games that I've ever played.

Rapture is an incredible world to explore. Not many games have the intelligence to build their world on the foundations of an Objectivist society gone wrong.

One of the BEST GAMES EVER.....Intriguing story, replay, action. RPG leveing up! Definetly a new breed of shooter. Too bad the sony fanboys will NEVER get to play this.

I thought this game was kinda fun but alittle overrated, I got to the end and just stopped playing. Graphicly amazing on PC with DX 10 though I'll give it that.

Great game, my favorite part was the insane plastic surgeon. It also inspired me to download system shock 2. THAT game is scary.

I have 4 new games at the house atm so its hard to get around to actually beating Bioshock. Im playing on hard and have rescued all little sisters so far (10 I believe) .... I just got condemned 2 so I assume that will be taking up some of my time.
