BF has always been about multiplayer. BF2 had a campaign and it was a joke.

Yeah, I find that I can only use the chopper if I'm using the driver's viewpoint, not the external one. But yeah, the constant swooping gets a little irritating. The tanks are fun though.

yea that "Find all Five" is nonsense. I can't seem to get the online thing to work, where I check my stats online.. it keeps saying "error" of some sort.

Also, for my pre-order- I did that at Gamestop (one of the participating retailers, I believe) and they ran out of cards with the promotion codes on them, I guess. BS if you ask me.

Sooner or later they're supposed to offer them on the Marketplace (and whatever PS3 has)


Anyways, should a mod change the title of this thread so it's not just about the demo now?

I'm really liking the sniper rifle that comes with the Gold. Funny thing with this game is for the first hour I kind of hate it.. then I get used to it, a little bit. I'm not used to it though when I shoot a guy in the head and he doesn't die.

I've decided to never purchase this game or any other battlefield franchise until they actually make a new game. The level of new stuff present from 1942 to BF2 to now like BF2142, BF:BC, it's all bullshit. They're milking the word "battlefield" for all it's worth and currently have like 5 titles in the works all coming out in the next couple years. It's fucking pathetic. Wake up sheeple!

Not to mention that they chose not to release for PC. This is more retarded greedy bullshit. They feel like if they release a game for PC, 360, and PS3 at the same time people will pirate the PC version and their sales will suffer. GTA4 did the exact same thing. I'm sure both of these games are finished for PC and just sitting there on the shelf for 6+ months so everyone buys a console version. Then they release for PC and everyone buys another copy for PC since the controls are better and mods come out and blah blah.

The gaming industry is acting extremely greedy lately and putting out completely shitty titles that are just "mods" of previous games and everyone is just throwing their cash out there. Makes me sad. EA is one of the worst things to happen to gaming and other companies are following their examples now because they have to in order to survive.

Games are going to go the way of music/movies and in 10+ years everyone will be complaining about the VGAA (Video Game Association of America) and their completely shitty content that is a total rip off and that they're preventing the medium from moving forward, blah blah blah. Everyone is doing it to themselves by purchasing titles like this and putting up with the in game ads, held back PC releases, mods sold as new games, game content like guns that cost extra, subscriptions for gaming services that used to be free, etc, etc.

How awful that they should choose to protect their investment from piracy.

I hate that they charge for downloading game add-ons like maps, cars, guns etc.. Always free on the PC

That's what happens when a company gets too big. They aren't afraid of the competition so they can do whatever they damned well please.
They should be fucking sued for charging 50 bucks for bf2142, which is a proffesional mod and nothing more. 20 bucks as an addon would have made alot more sense. But they're going to squeeze every last drop out of the Battlefield name.

I don't blame piracy, I blame EA's near monopoly on the gaming market and the ongoing trend of emphsizing pretty pictures over gameplay.

Its so annoying having to wait for noobs to get in the heli with you and shoot about one shell a minute. And when you land to repair, they get in the pilot seat and crash it

bad company feels like a whole new game compared to the other battlefields. a whole lot more fun from my experience.

twentysix, did you actually get a new gun for getting the highest rank in the demo or was it bullshit?
