Hey ya'll I have a few questions about vicoprofen. During the last 6 years i've been prescribed a bunch of different opiate painkillers (Vic, Perc,Roxi,Oxy) due to an injury i got back in 2004. and since than i've become dependant on opiates and have had addiction spurts.. which includes a 3 year addiction to heroin. but i've never even came across Vicoprofen. can somebody tell me there expierence with taking them for pain and for recreation use? It has hydrocodone in it so im assuming it works all similar.. is the ibuprofen in the drug way too harsh on stomaches to be taking more than the required amount (recreation)? I appreciate whatever you guys have for me. 1LoVE BlueLightazz!:D

Yea, ibuprofen is much harder on the GI tract than acetaminophen. It can also damage your kidneys as well. I'd stick to the pure stuff, or stuff with acetaminophen (which is easier to extract.)

that.

What strength do you have and how many are you SUPPOSED to take? If it's occasional you can take arounde 1-1.6 grams, but DONT go over this. Also, have something small to eat with it. This goes for occasional "overuse" only. Otherwise 800mg is the maximum recommended dose (from what I remember) in one go, this is also not advisable on a daily basis (although under medical supervision it is ok). Otherwise you can cwe, this will get rid of almost all of the ibuprofen. In general ibuprofen is a very safe drug, although after chronic use ibuprofen can be harmfull, not more so than paracetamol (acetaminophen) though. I don't even think ibuprofen has a reported LD50 yet.

I went into acute kidney failure (which reversed itself, thank god) after 7 days on Vicoprofen. Symptoms were swelling of feet, then ankles, then calves, followed by all-over body weakness and finally, mental cloudiness and extreme confusion. Oddly, I can take Vicodin and Advil together for a few days (and do, every month, ahem) without noticeable kidney changes, but Vicoprofen sent me straight into kidney failure, at only a whisper above normal therapeutic doses (I'm talking like 6-8 pills a day taken intact orally). I recommend drinking lots of water, anyway, if you are taking Vicoprofen.

Obviously not everyone will have this reaction, but it's a strange medication anyway, and despite the problems with APAP, I think Vicodin is a superior drug. Plus you can always CWE Vicodin/Norco if you need/want larger doses.

vicoprofin is usually prescribed to people who are allergic to acetaminophen. I would know, I happen to be one of those patients.

CWE? is there a form of extraction that can be done to the vicoprofen to rid it from the motrin? just by reading clementines post its turning me off to try them for rec use.. basicially I've been prescribed to subutex for the last 6 months and im going to not be able to get my script for them until a week from now.. so i was basicially thinking about trying to comfort myself with these. what do ya guyz think? how will it work as far as edging to withdrawl?

Ibuprofen is even less soluble in water than acetaminophen.

So if you do your extraction right, you can come out with purer hydrocodone than with Vicoden.

YOU GUYS ARE FUCKIN DOPE! litterally. haha but hoenstly im in the process of CWEing 30 tablets.. it blows my mind how easily this can be done. i should of been doing this for years i've heard about doing it.. i suppose i just never wanted to make a science experament to get high right. but once again thanks guys! i wasnt really about to have massive amounts of motrin floatin around my GI track yaahhmeann.. pCe yall!
