Opioids Vicodin versus Norco for the sake of a dumb argument

I have been having the most ridiculous argument with someone about this, so I would appreciate any feelings on this, regular Vicodin/Lortab is 5 mg Hydro/500 tylenol, Norco on the other hand is 10 mg Hydro/325 tylenol.

Just for the sake of my argument, is there anyone out there who feels better taking 2 regular Vicodins as opposed to 1 Norco? IMHO I would have a bigger stomach ache with option A. Option B would involve less tylenol, hence no/lesser stomach pain.

Someone claims that Vicodin is better than Norco, and like I said IMHO I think it's ridiculous, it would be better IF you were addicted to tylenol, which is asinine, and not even possible? I dunno.... but this argument is driving me batty, because who in their right mind would rather regular over Norco? 8o

Any and all opinions would be appreciated, just trying to prove a ridiculous point here. thanks y'all *One Love*
 
Norco comes in 5/325, 7.5/325, 10/325. The part that gets you high is the hydrocodone so the tylenol level doesn't even matter at all. Yeah, you might get more of a tummyache with vicoden vs. norco but "better" as in what gets you high is based on the hydrocodone and tolerance. I wouldn't say 2 vicoden is any better or worse then 1 10/325 norco.
 
I've known people that claim they can't get high off oxycodone by itself, only percocets. Of course this was all in his head, but it still was funny how convinced he was. If you believe something strong enough, your mind makes it true.

No matter what formulation you take of a drug, as long as it's the exact same amount of the same drug, you're going to get the same effects. Period.
 
This thread is beyond ridiculous. Vicoden and norco both have HYDROCODONE as their main desirable ingredient. They make "Vicoden" in varying dosages, 5, 7.5, 10mg for sure, and you aren't going to feel anything different. Both drugs are hydrocodone, because hydrocodone is hydrocodone is hydrocodone, so you clearly want to take the amount to pills to eat the least amount of APAP, but this has nothing to do with a "vicoden" vs "norco" brand name, at all. Same drug.
