Vicodin together with Darvocet???

I was wondering if it would be ok to take vicodin together with darvocet at the same time. I don't think that there should be any problem. I only have 10 vicodins and about 20 darvocets and am actually taking them for the pain this time.
 
I'm not sure if this is correct. I've read on here that darvocet will actually supress other stronger opiates like hydrocodone or oxycodone. I'm not sure the reason, but I do remember some people saying that in a recent post.
Also, I just took about 7 darvos the other night. It was the first time I had taken them, but I have also kinda been off stronger opiates for about 4 weeks. I noticed that darvos aren't a very fun high like the other opiates I've taken. Most opiates put me in a care-free tolerant mood, but the darvocets made me irritable and it didn't have a "clean" feeling like other opiates had, it made me feel dirty like bad acid I've taken.(might not be bad acid, but you know what I mean). Anyone care to tell me why?
 
I've taken darvocet with hydrocodone before and had no problems. If the above poster is correct, and darvocet weakens stronger opiates, it wasn't enough for me to notice.
Just be careful with the nausea from darvocet, it'll make you sick long before you get where you really want to go with it.
 
why mix them? If all ur gonna take them for
is pain. Take the vicodin first cuz pain is
always the worst at first. then after all
those are gone take the darvocet.
 
I've been taking proxyphene (darvon) for quite a number of years now, it takes me 6 tabs (65mg or pure propox. hcl) to catch a buzz; but it stills takes me to warm fuzzy places with a sense of well being, and with a bowl of my favorite smoke creates a terrific and very friendly atmosphere.

If you have any benzo's try adding one, im not sure if theres any actual medical reason but I swear when I had pain taking the two togethor helped more then taking more of one.
