I've been taking it past 3 days. I've taken it before and not gone sick. Well so far everyday I've gotten kinda sick off it. First day the worst I threw up 3 times, I thought I took too many and on an empty stomach. Ate yesterday and took less, still felt sick. Now today, I've only had 2 and I'm feeling sick again. I was sure to eat a bunch before hand, then took 1 and then a few hours later I took a second one then a few hours after that I started feeling nauseous like in gonna vomit. Do you think I'm just sick like flu or is it the Vic's? I've had em before and not felt sick, in fact because I had surgery a few years back and was on it for over a month everyday at higher doses and never once felt sick. Could I have developed an allergy to it? Would it suddenly start like this? Is there anything to take or eat in particular to reduce the nausea? Don't get me wrong I love the high, it just sucks that 1/3 of the high is spent me laying still in bed feeling icky :( I heard diphenhydramine can help the nausea (I have some around the house) I kinda figure though the body load of diph wouldn't even be worth mixing in with the Vicodin high. Plus I feel the potation potential with the diph might be dangerous as well.

How many and what type of Vicodin are you taking. If you are taking Norcos you shouldn't have a problem, they have 10mg hydrocodone and 325mg APAP. You can take up to 8-9 a day without serious problems (besides addiction). But if you are taking 20 5mg hydrocodone/750mg APAP vicodins you are going to be having some stomach and liver problems, including but not limited to your liver internally bleeding.

An allergic reaction would not cause nausea.

You said that you have taken them before after surgery, was that the only other time or have you taken them recreationally before also? Sometimes for some people your body will react differently when you actually take them for pain than when you take them just for fun.

You never said in your post how many you have actually been taking last several day or what the dosages were (except for the last day where you said just 2). How much hydro and how much APAP were you taking each time? That would make a big difference I knowing what might be the cause.

Nausea and vomiting is one of the main symptoms of acute liver damage.

Norcos. So the lower acetemetaphine content kind. First day I took 5, yesterday I took 4 today 2...I took some recreationally last month (only other time I've done recreationally) only one time but took 4 @ once with no problem. Got some more this month because I loved high. I tend to get sick about the 4th or 5th hour after taking them and dose isn't seeming to make difference.

You might try taking them with a glass of milk. Will coat your stomach and for me anyways...milk does a FANTASTIC job with most stomach issues.

Always got a bit of stomach issues but if i sat down....laid down for a but they passed. Milk or tea also helped settle my stomach.

That's interesting to know about the milk. Ill try that next time. The neighbor suggested it but I thought that was just her preference because I don't like milk, I didn't realize it helped. Milk doesn't help with alcohol nausea that's for sure ? next time we do vics ill be sure to get some milk c:
