vicodin first time dosage?

ok so in a few days im about to receive v3594 which i believe is supposed to be 7.5 mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen. i have never done opiates before, and rarely take painkillers. i am 17 years old, 5'3, and weigh 95 pounds. how many pills should i take? i dont plan on getting too addicted to it lol, i just want to take it maybe once a day, is that an ok amount? like to get rid of stress and feel happy etc. and how many pills should i take at a time? and if i choose to take like 1.5 is it safe to break a pill in half then take it? thanks

Taking it once a day, you will end up getting addicted. Since you seem kinda small, I'm guessing you might be female...maybe start with a 7.5 and another one broken in half the first time -- its safe to break them in half. You really don't want to get addicted to opiates, read around in TDS and even OD to see how much people struggle with it.

I'd say the starting dose for hydrocodone (Vicodin) for an opioid beginner is 10 mg. Wait 30 minutes to see if you notice any effects, if it's your first time you definitely should.

Yes, I'm a 13 year opiate addict, mostly heroin/morphine and it's been nothing but hell. It starts off all fun, but it ends in depression, anxiety, fear, loneliness, and heartache. Believe me, I've been through it all.

You'll feel the strong part of the high for about a good 2 hours, with the lingering effects lasting about 5 hours.

I know it's your decision, and at least you are taking some measures to stay safe. But, I digress, you are so young, and to get started on something like opiates at 17 with the attitude "I don't plan on getting too addicted" can't be a good start for a young man with so much in front of you. Take it from people like me or kokaino, it always starts out fun, but usually never ends pretty.

For a very nice experience I would and always recommend 15mg. That's the dose most people I know start at, including myself. And I had the most euphoric night of my life all by myself curled up in a blanket.
