Vicks Vapour Rub???

I read alot of the USA pill reports and I have noticed in some reports they say that they used vicks vapour rub. What is so special about vicks when pilling? none of my pilling mates know the answer to this one either, or is this just another yank thing?

Some people claim that it feels good, but I think its just another american thing to be honest.. I've made several threads about how they get wrapped up in "roll tricks" to enhance the high... they're so focussed on the feeling of the drug that its almost antisocial at times.
 
Inhaling the aroma (likely the menthol component) supposedly gives you a rush.

Our company makes a product similar to this and I tried it one night, I can't see what the big deal is. Much better things to get a buzz from IMO.
 
Vicks vapour inhalers used to be (a few years ago) as essential an item as chuppachups among kids at dance parties in Melbourne. I remember people going as far as running the flame from a cigarette lighter along the side to warm them up so they produced more vapour. Nasty if you sniff too hard and suck vicks into your nostril though.

A whiff or two on the vapour would give a decent rush for a few minutes if the peak from MDMA was fading away. These days it appears (to me) that the preference is to use other drugs or more pills instead... I haven't seen anyone with a Vicks tube at a club in a long while.

I've seen them at raves recently but they're not that popular.

A little bottle of butyl nitrite is much better, but when I'm out I'm there to jump around and talk shit to strangers, not sniff vicks or poppers.
 
I see the old vicks tubes up here in Brisbane most raves...usually friendly/social ravers will offer it to you if everyones sitting in a heap in the chillout room or nearby. Doesnt do much for me but clear my sinus's but I will humour people rather than knockback friendly offers.

I must admit I like chuppa chups and I am hardly a kid....but thats because my jaw chatters so hard that on gum with the constant chewing I have difficulty chewing for a few days. Versus the odd chuppa chup I can roll around my mouth and it does far less damage (aside from the obvious sugar damage to me teeth) and last for an hour or two.
 
Dunno about it being a 'yank' thing but I know back in the early 90's everyone had a Vicks inhaler to sniff on.
Also a tub of Vicks was handy to rub some under your nose and under your eyes.
Word of warning, if ya sniff a Vicks inhaler all night be prepared for a sore throat and a menthol taste that lasts for about 3 days LOL

I agree with BT, it seems ppl just take more drugs now :|
 
U still get the odd person carrying round a vicks inhaler and/or medic around in Perth...
Its just the menthol in both products that does the trick for everyone using it.

Yeah, no doubt about it (for me anyways) the Vicks trick works nicely. But, I'd say it wouldn't be the Vicks Menthol intensifying the high, more-so the effects of the E intensifying the refreshing effects of the Vicks.

Maybe it's got something to do with your senses being heightened when on E, Heh... who knows. But definately try it man. :)
 
Apparently it works better if your sucking on a pacifier when you inhale.=D
 
^^^hahah good stuff wazza. but hey surely if someone can get a buzz from such a product then more power to them, better than just continually pumping drugs into your body. Few friend carry round the vicks inhaler and few guys i know carry little bottle of ammyl (sp?) which when sniffed gives an interesting buzz. although be careful, too much and ya end up with a brownish sorta tinge on end of ya nose. have seen it a few times, is kinda funny thing to see when chopped :D

If you sniff poppers too many times eventually you end up spaced out and sort of drowsy in my experience.

I don't really like the feeling when straight but poppers while on pills are a nice little rush, just don't do it too much.

i still carry vicks...but more as a pussy wimp out option after railing a particularly ouchy line of meth!

but i dunno about that nitrite stuff....sounds too much like amyl (animal :p ) to me.......:\
 
yeh but it melts your brain

its like chroming!

and dont give me no shit about meth being just as bad......the rewards are far higher for the risk you're taking
