So I just took a shot of dope, same bag i have had the last 2 - 3 weeks and it all felt normal at first, then I started getting really bad itch like the normal from a larger shot, but this time, my hands and face started swelling. it got pretty swollen and now is going down little by little. My question is why did this happen?
- wasnt new dope
- was a large shot, but not bigger than in the past
- new rig 1st us
- injected in my right hand
- hit vein for sure
- Dope used: Mexican #4 white powder(my guy told me they usually ship this stuff out east and stomp on it a few times before it hits the street. He gets to grab a chunk off it every month or 2, which I feel lucky for, as in CA we dont ever see this shit on the street, especially as pure. My friend visiting from NYC said it was best shit he ever had. Its super potent, but your tolerance builds so quickly that potency isnt a factor anymore later, in fact your screwed since there isnt a stronger level.
what is the cause of this? I have had reactoins before, but usuallhy hives which go away, one time 'I swoll up in a similar manner when I did a foot injection but then it was only my foot swollen too. This reaction was soo strong that it fucking killed my high and sobered me up a bit. Now as I normalize I feel it a bit. At first I didnt even notice it was affecting my face, but I saw a reflection and when i moved my face muscles they felt very tense. My hands still both feel very tense as I write this, but the reaction is going away for sure. My main goal is to see what I can do to prevent it.
*Note this morning, like 4 - 5 hours ago, I took half of a benydryl pill so that my morning shot didnt itch too bad. This is something I do maybe 4-5 times a week, but generally, I try to keep my tolerlance lower, so I dont need it(with the dope I have if you shoot less than a .1, no need, but any more and I highly recommend it, especially anything larger than a .28-.30 you need it or the reaction is so bad it hurts).
