VERY old hydros

Ok, I will take 20mg later tomorrow and see if it works. I think I somehow messed up on the CWE even though it's very simple steps to follow lol.

If you are in pain why would you bother with a cwe? All that does is remove the acetaminophen which will definitely help relieve pain. Cwe is for people who need high doses to feel it, and chronic pain patients worried about their liver. You should be fine without it. Just remember no more than 4 grams (4000 mg) of acetaminophen in a 24 hour period, and no more than 1000 in a single dose. (Hour in between should suffice)

I've never had any acetaminophen related issues but be weary if you have pre existing liver troubles as symptoms don't present themselves for 12-24 hours after the damaging dose is taken.

Thanks for the informing info! The main reason I I did the CWE is because I've heard that after long periods of time, APAP becomes toxic. Hopefully that's just a wives tale and I'll be fine tommorow. And what if I do go past the 1000mg APAP single dose limit? Because I'm going to take 2000mg tommorow.

"After long periods of time" meaning long periods of time taking it I believe. Utse for going over 1000mg. Not positive on effects. Should be fine once or twice but I wouldn't it a habit.

Yea thats the plan. He'll post back later after ingesting them, and report any negatives (if theres any). He just also hopes that old Tylenol/aceiphetamophen is in fact just not as potent, rather than toxic.

acetaminophen doesn't degrade to toxic stuff over time... (the toxic stuff comes from liver metabolism) and if its been pressed into a pill and stored dry at room temperature it probably wont degrade for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.

same thing with hydrocodone, it should be stable for a very very long period of time without loss of potency, as long as you dont do something like store it on the burner of your stove.

old vicodins sould be the exact same potency as the day they were made

this actually could be answred with a google search :)
