LSD in my experience is one of the psychedelics most likely to induce a psychotic reaction, contrary to common perception. The receptor binding profile is very promiscuous and it's not surprising that you get a fairly hefty dose of insanity from synergistic dopamine and serotonin receptor agonism. Although I've seen a lot of anxious but manageable freakouts from high doses of DOX drugs, from LSD I've seen much more psychotic behaviour such as public nudity and violence. Couple that with the NMDA antagonist and dopamine reuptake inhibition properties of ketamine and it's easy to see things going ugly.
