Opioids very ill from methadone wds, kratom?

i have been addicted to opiates for atleast 5 years moving from sparadic use of pills to complete addiction. for the past 3 years i have been taking roughly 100 mgs of methadone a day. i have not had my methadone in 3 days and i am experiencing pretty severe wds, i know they can get much worse but hopefully that wont have to happen. has anyone taken kratom to help with methadone wds, and what would be a reasonable dosage to take. also what kind is most potent. thank you, sry for the bad grammar/spelling but not in the mood to correct myself.

If you have it you might as well take it. It's an opiate soit will help some. its very weak compared to done tho.

Kratom might help some however 100mg of methadone is going to be more and more uncomfortable. There are a lot of good links in the Other Drugs Directory, and I would suggest checking out this guide to withdrawal specifically. It lists a lot of the good OTC medications and techniques to survive WD.

Pegasus has also listed a guide to using Kratom to counter buprenorphine withdrawal here. I know you're on methadone, but check it out and it will give you a lot of good information in terms of dosage and whatnot.

Although everyone is different , I'm thinking after frequent strong opiate use you will find little relief from any kratom. I believe its similar but its not an opiate. I think you will get sick before you get WD relief from it. Pods would be a better option , although not a good path to sobriety but relief....yeah.
