Very Extreme Dfferences between Mescaline Salts.

Over the last month, I've dabbled in a few various salts of mescaline and had surprisingly different experiences. I am curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or if possibly other factors may have played a role.

Roughly a month ago, I tried mescaline HCl @ 450mg and had a very intense yet enjoyable experience. I was surprised by the intensity, honestly at times it felt close to being too intense physically. As a result, I endeavored to try others salts at a lower dose. I ended up dosing a 3:1 acetate/sulfate mixture at 450mg. This was enjoyable, but less profound mentally while being physically easier as well. I ended up adding another 200mg of mescaline sulfate two hours in. This increased the intensity somewhat, but no where near what the smaller dose of HCl had been, it just drug it out more then it increased the trip.

I am aware that both the acetate and sulfate salts are relatively weaker than the HCl, but when everything is said and done, I still exceeded my previous dose substantially which I was not planning to do. Are the acetate and sulfate salts more subtle and long lasting? I'd expect this to be the case of the sulfate for sure. I am just sort of disappointed things never got deeper mentally as 650mg is a substantial dose. Can anyone with experience with various mescaline salts tell me if they have noticed any subjective differences between them? Might it also be possible I had some sort of tolerance from dosing mescaline a month previous? I am not experienced enough with this compound to know how quick and profoundly tolerance develops after use.

Staggering your dose spreaded with 2 hours in between also just might have resulted in mostly extention of duration rather than intensifying the effects.. and the difference in potency due to different molar mass could have basically caused you to have it fall short of expectations..
plus psychological tolerance, sure that's possible..

Would be interesting to calculate different molar masses of the salts.
Just did.. the acetate is only 91% as potent and the sulfate is 80% as potent, an equivalent mix 86% so 450 mg amounts to only 387 mg of the HCl. Should be a full dose, but if you were expecting more, it could perhaps fall short with psychedelia.
I have experience with it, and while I find it very visionary it can also be uneventful if you look superficially at it.
