Very bad place

You may only post 1 messages every 180 minutes. what a crap........... cannot even reply to anyone

I agree with you. Drinking is very unhealthy and worse than opiates in most side effects, including addiction.
I don´t know why people say so many bad things about drugs and rarely include drinking as a social issue as well.
Kratom would be less harmful and could provide you with some relief.

Now, on topic. DWE. Obviously you can't just stop drinking or taking methadone. You're best bet is to taper. This is probably something that will be very difficult for you. It's so hard to have the self control to keep to the taper plan and if you're not strict and true to it, it becomes much harder to do it.

Is there anyone that you trust to help you with this? Someone that could spend a lot of time with you and maybe dole out alcohol to you to make sure you stick to the taper plan.

Seeing a Dr might not be the worst idea even if you know they'll recommend a detox/rehab. They should at least give you good advice on what to do if you decide to taper and get clean on your own. It would be negligent of them to not do so if you tell them that is your plan.

You can post more than 1 message every 180 mins. You just can't PM until you get Bluelighter status which occurs when you have 50 posts. You are only halfway there. There's no need to spam a thread with posts saying the same thing as that's frowned upon here. Welcome to BL though. You'll find that there's many helpful posters here and tons of good information to help you with whatever you need, be it information on how to use in a safe manner or tips on getting clean and remaining sober.
 
Dude yeah its way worse than opiates. I was in your shoes and somehow made it out. It fucking sucked but I learned alot and don't regret it.
 
lol i think its you may only post one msg every 80 seconds, but i could be wrong.... either way kinda annoying/ stupid to post basically the same shit ten times in a row and ATL is right there are plenty of people on here that would be more then willing to help answer your questions, if you find the right thread, under the right section.... but good luck with having your super important, secret question answered....
