so to celebrate last st patricks day like a proper irish lad, i took a really nice pure pill at about 17:00, which was incredibly stupid cuz im 17, and 3 hours later my mom called and said i had to come home. (i knew the pill was clean btw cuz a friend tested it. a pink vw, its on pillreports)

ive had my share of yokes and ive never had a bad experience off them, until that day.

so i came home, and my mom, who was like me once upon a time, knew well i was on E. she started freaking out, and at first i didnt care, but then, as if a switch was flicked inside my brain, i just flipped. i started screaming etc and breaking shit, and even raised my fist and said id hit her if she didnt let me go ouside again.

then i jumped out my window and my dad jumped after and grabbed me, so i wrestled him untill he let go, and i just ran untill i collapsed.

i would NEVER do anything like this sober, ive a pretty good relationship with my parents, and ive never seen or heard of people being violent while high, so the point of this thread is : wtf happend inside my brain, and have you ever done anything violent/threatening whilst on the "love drug"?

MDMA can trigger anxiety or other emotional reactions if you are in an unpleasant situation. It's not guaranteed to make you feel 100% good 100% of the time. Becoming violent is probably uncommon but I don't see why it would be impossible to flip out during a roll because of a sudden upsetting situation.

It was probably an accumulation of things – firstly you were probably annoyed at her for calling you home early before you had a chance to party. You were probably very nervous at the thought of going home when high and having to ‘hide’ the fact from your parents. Then when your mum started to freak out it was simply too much adrenaline for you and your fight / flight reflex took over.

MDMA wouldn’t normally make a non violent person violent but, given your circumstances I can understand how the situation could have escalated. I’m sure if she had simply yelled at you and then asked you to goto your room to discuss this when you were sober then things would have worked out differently.

I hope you took this opportunity in talking to your mum about your MDMA use?

Sounds like your a bit of a nutcase mate, on drugs or not breaking all your shit and threatening your parents is what crazy people do. You can't blame drugs because your a psycho

People definitely look at MDMA differently than for example, LSD. The thing is, MDMA has psychedelic properties to and it can definitely bring up emotions that don't need to be. It was also stimulating you so that and the whole fight scene just affected you a lot more than normal.

I bet you were rolling hard as fuck when you got home.
I always rolled the hardest when I was in an uncomfortable environment for some reason.

id say thats pretty accurate. mdma floods your brain with serotonin, the chemical that is responsible for all of our emotions. it was probably the equivilant of a "bad trip" on mdma. bad trips are almost unheard with mdma, unlike every other psychecllic drug. oh and wtf is with all these ppl switching to benzodiazapines because they say pot gives them anxiety? someone help me answer this riddle.
